A Cinderella Story..

I absolutely LOVE and am inspired by her:

When I first heard about the the Royal Wedding, I honestly didn't care too much about it. Of course I knew all about the Prince, but I didn't know much about Catherine Middleton, so it didn't really spark my interest much. But when I saw that it was going to be aired, out of curiosity, I thought, "what the heck, I'll record it." - there was NO way that I was going to wake up at 3am to watch it. So the next morning while I ate breakfast I began to watch the Royal Wedding... I was in complete AWE!!!

 

 

 

 

I thought it was absolutely stunning! She looked beyond gorgeous and together, they both looked unbelievably happy! Maybe because I am a recent bride, I have to admit, while watching the Royal wedding I couldn't help but shed a couple tears.
And who will ever forget, the extravagant event was topped off by not just one, but TWO kisses on the balcony of the Buckingham Palace- my favorite part of the entire event.

 

The Royal Wedding weekend was continued by multiple television broadcasts replaying the wedding, biographies about William and Kate, and their love story. I seriously couldn't get enough of Kate Middleton!!! I think she not only absolutely beautiful, intelligent, inspiring and has a stunning smile, she also has an impeccable fashion sense!

 

Her story began as a commoner, and now continues as a Princess. Their love story is evidently full of love and a true Cinderella story.

The Zzzzzzzzz's....

Definitely one of our funniest moments thus far-
So, after 45 minutes of Dan snoring like a bear (literally).. I see a hand hover over my head while Dan asks: "why are you doing something on your phone, not sleeping?"
I reply with- the truth: "cause I can't fall asleep, you're snoring too load."
He then says: "but I haven't fallen asleep yet..."

Are all men in denial that they snore, like mine is?

there are nights where I seriously CAN NOT fall asleep because my mind is flowin with design ideas, or is it because my hubby's snoring so load?.. either way, I love my life, I love love and I love design! Hold onto your passions for dear life, for one day they can and will become reality!

1 year ago today...

To give you a little update on our lives,  March 30 will mark 3 months of our married life together! With a little bit of adjusting and a lot of loving, we are happy little clams. We are currently living in Sugarhouse in Salt Lake City, and are both completely OVER the snow and cold weather (especially with my sweetheart working out in the cold weather day in and day out these days)...I have approx. 3 weeks left of this school semester, and am still lovin it! These past few months I have grown a love and passion for cooking and pretty much ANYTHING interior and exterior design- so get ready for some fun design blog posts from me!  
However, the reason why im writting today is to express how much Im in LOVE with my husband!!! I absolutly love waking up to his handsome face every morning as I receive the sweetest "good morning" kisses. I want to dedicate this blog post to my wonderful husband. 1 year ago today, we met for the first time.. and now we are living and loving our version of "happily ever after"!
In honor of our love, I figured its about time I post some pictures from our wedding. To be honest with you, we aren't too happy with how our photos turned out... but  I hope you enjoy them non the less!

Update...

I'm alive and still kickin! Life has been crazy/busy to say the least, but I'm lovin it!!!



WHAT'S NEW:  gluten free recipe collection/ cookbooks, a FABULOUS new coat for only $10, Ragnar Relay in approx. 45 days- still in training, but BEYOND PUMPED, no more snow on the ground, work now begins at 7:45am for me (mon-fri), and the Lakers are kicking some serious butt in the play-offs.... how much better can life get then that!?!?



I notice that as I face each morning with an optimistic attitude that "today will be the best day of my life!".. I find myself loving life just that much more. I still LOVE my job, have made and held onto the best friends anyone could ever ask for, and last- but not least- I have been incredibly blessed with the most INCREDIBLE family anyone could ever ask for. The simple thought of the amount of love and support I receive being 750 miles away from them is something that brings tears to my eyes.

I feel beyond blessed to have the incredible job that I do at Architectural Nexus in SLC as a Construction Administrator. Architects can be difficult, confusing, and rewarding individuals to work with! But I LOVE it! I love walking into the office, smelling the freshly brewed coffee in the kitchen each and every morning as I strut my stuff on my way to my desk. I often feel like I'm one of those weird people that is genuinely excited to wake up and go to work everyday
