Wearing the familiar Creos “Team Spirit” shirt, they joined around 8,000 runners for an evening filled with energy and sporting spirit. Bringing European policymaking closer to business realities. Last week, FEDIL held its annual MEPs meet Industry, bringing Luxembourg MEPs and companies together for direct exchanges on some of the key challenges facing industry. ♻️ At PreZero Lamesch, discussions focused on the circular economy, decarbonisation of heavy transport and evolving EU regulation, including DIWASS and Extended Producer Responsibility. ⚡ At Creos’ Dispatching Center, we explored how Luxembourg’s electricity and gas networks are managed in real time, with exchanges on energy infrastructure, grids, investment, skills, data and security. #weconnectyou | Chantier en cours 🚁 Quand la modernisation d’une ligne à haute tension prend de la hauteur. Dans le cadre du projet Upgrade 65 - 110 kV dans le nord du Luxembourg, une opération particulière a récemment été menée sur le tronçon Marnach - Walsdorf - Flebour : la pose d’un câble pilote à l’aide d’un hélicoptère. Ce câble, installé de pylône en pylône, servira ensuite à tirer les futurs conducteurs de la nouvelle ligne dans les semaines à venir. Une étape discrète dans le processus global, mais déterminante pour la suite du chantier. L’hélicoptère permet de travailler efficacement sur un tracé où certaines zones sont plus difficiles d’accès, tout en réduisant les interventions au sol. On se retrouvera lors de la prochaine grande étape : le tirage des conducteurs. ---------------- #weconnectyou | Projects underway 🚁 Taking high-voltage line modernisation to new heights. As part of the upgrade 65 -110 kV line project in northern Luxembourg, a special operation was recently carried out along the Marnach - Walsdorf - Flebour section: the installation of a pilot cable by helicopter. Installed from tower to tower, this cable will be used in the coming weeks to pull the conductors of the new line into place. It may be a relatively discreet step in the overall construction process, but it is a crucial one for the next phase of the project. Using a helicopter makes it possible to work efficiently along sections of the route that are more difficult to access, while also reducing the need for interventions on the ground.
