Today, we celebrated the arrival of our first two company-owned Boeing 737-8 aircraft, another major milestone in Luxair’s fleet renewal programme. ✈️ The celebration took place in our maintenance hangar at lux-Airport in the presence of Yuriko Backes, Minister for Mobility and Public Works, Jonas Degerth, Sales Director Europe at Boeing, and distinguished guests from Luxembourg’s institutions and aviation community. The Boeing 737-8 brings additional capacity and range flexibility, improved environmental performance and a high level of passenger comfort. These aircraft are part of a 1€ billion-plus fleet renewal programme, including 12 new-generation Boeing 737 family aircraft, with two additional options. We are proud to take this important step together with Boeing, our long-standing partner with whom we will celebrate 50 years of partnership in 2027. 🤝
