Today, with our Customer Bundeswehr University Munich (UniBw M), we decided to jointly post on our common major achievement for the #SeRANIS mission: Culmination of the Final Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) campaign for #SeRANIS was reached last Friday when we packed it for shipment to Launch site. After a short stop in Bremen, the #SeRANIS minisatellite of @UniBw M, built with our #Triton-X Heavy platform will go for trans-oceanic journey. Last destination: LEO, in October 2026 ! Great Team(s), Great Collaboration ! Danke. Viel Erfolg #SeRANIS ! #LetsMakeItHappen

🚀 One Step Closer to Space! 🌍🛰️ A major milestone has been reached: last Friday marked the successful completion of the Final Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) campaign. Everything is now packed and on its way to the launch site. 👏🏼 Our experiments have officially begun their journey—first with a short stop in Bremen, then across the Atlantic, and ultimately to their final destination: Low Earth Orbit (LEO) in October 2026. 🛰️ It is exciting to think that work carried out over many months will soon be tested in space. 🚀 This mission is the result of outstanding teamwork, dedication, and collaboration across many disciplines. 💪🏼 A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this possible. Looking forward to the next milestone—launch day! 🚀✨ #Space #Satellite #LEO #Research #Innovation #Engineering #Teamwork #SeRANIS #Launch2026   🛰️ -------- SeRANIS -------- 🛰️ SeRANIS (Seamless Radio Access Networks for Internet of Space) is part of the German Armed Forces Center for Digitalization and Technology Research (dtec.bw). dtec.bw is funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU. The SeRANIS project is being carried out by the SPACE Research Center at the University of the German Armed Forces in Munich (Universität der Bundeswehr München) and provides a publicly accessible multifunctional experimental laboratory in orbit. 🚀

🚀 Kinéis x LuxSpace: powering a stronger European maritime data ecosystem We’re thrilled to announce a new strategic European partnership with LuxSpace, a key player in satellite AIS. This collaboration marks a new milestone for Kin’AIS and a shared ambition: strengthening a sovereign European maritime data ecosystem. By integrating Kinéis satellite AIS data into its OrbitSailor platform, LuxSpace enhances vessel tracking, maritime surveillance and domain awareness, delivering sharper data-driven insights at scale. What this partnership brings: 📡 Enriched multi-source AIS data for more comprehensive maritime insights 🌍 Enhanced global situational awareness, even in complex maritime areas 🛡️ A more robust, sovereign and independent European data ecosystem As the maritime data market accelerates, access to trusted and independently operated AIS data is becoming a key differentiator for both public and private stakeholders. For us, it confirms Kin'AIS as a key building block of the maritime data value chain. A special thanks to Gerd Eiden, Director of LuxSpace AIS business department. 👉 Read more: https://lnkd.in/dQ2bECu7 #MaritimeData #SatelliteAIS #Partnership #MaritimeIntelligence #OrbitSailor

Right now, in one of the world’s most critical maritime chokepoints, the digital map is breaking. Through OrbitSailor, the maritime intelligence platform developed by LuxSpace, we are detecting a massive surge in AIS spoofing - a sophisticated form of “now you see me, now you don’t,” where vessels transmit false coordinates to hide their true location or intentions. This isn't just a technical glitch; it is a deliberate “Electronic Fog” designed to blind global monitors, bypass international security, or sometimes even serve as a form of self-protection. You are looking at a high-stakes game of hide-and-seek where billions of dollars in cargo and the safety of global energy supplies are on the line. Attached data show two vessels following normal navigation patterns prior to February 28th, with consistent AIS transmission intervals and realistic movement. After the start of the conflict, however, their tracks become erratic: positions jump abruptly across large distances, creating calculated speeds and routes that are physically impossible. This pattern is a strong indicator of AIS spoofing activity. Next samples show a similar behavior. What makes them particularly interesting is that these vessels are not actually crossing the strait, yet they exhibit the same spoofing patterns. Their AIS signals generate artificial jumps and distorted tracks, suggesting intentional manipulation of positional data rather than natural navigation anomalies. At LuxSpace, OrbitSailor continues to work with our data providers and partners to validate and understand what the data is telling us - and what it is not. In 2026, raw data is often adversarial; it can be used as a weapon to create confusion and cover for illicit activity. Our role at LuxSpace has evolved from simple tracking to forensic validation, using multi-sensor fusion to pierce through the noise and uncover the physical truth. The lesson for the broader tech community is clear: in an era of digital deception, the value of your insights is only as strong as your ability to verify your inputs. As we move deeper into this year of global maritime volatility, the question for every logistics leader and data professional is no longer “What does the data say?” but rather: “How do we know the data is telling the truth?” #MaritimeSecurity #OrbitSailor #LuxSpace #DataForensics #AIS #SpaceTech #StraitOfHormuz #DataScience #SupplyChainTruth
