Blessed.

Paige's blessing.. She is now 7 months old. There were two baby blessings in my ward today. It reminded me of that special day for both of my children. I am so grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I believe it is true with all my heart. My children are a gift from God and I am truly blessed to call them mine. I realize every day how lucky I am, and I try to cherish the little things. I appreciate picking Paige's warm squishy body up out of her crib and holding her tight. I appreciate Carter wanting me to sleep with him every night. He loves to have me near him. I love that.

PAIGE'S BLESSING DAY! What an amazing, beautiful, fantastic day. She was blessed by her daddy on June 5, 2011. She (and Carter) were blessed in the same building I was baptized in. I love tradition. We had so many family & friends there to support us. The circle that surrounded Paige was quite large... How amazing is it to be surrounded by so many men that hold the priesthood. It was a sight I won't forget. Mark gave the perfect blessing. He always does. He has a way with words. I am grateful he was able to bless our little angel. Paige slept through her blessing, but I'm sure she could feel the warmth of the spirit.

The Dress...
The search for the perfect blessing started while Paige was still in the womb. I finally had the little girl I wasn't sure I would ever get (I thought I was destined to have a house full of boys). I had a picture in my mind but couldn't seem to find it in stores or online anywhere. I finally found some that kind of fit my idea on Etsy. I contacted the lady and met up with her in Spanish Fork. I looked at her dresses in person and ended up picking different things I liked about each of her dresses that I liked and she made it into one for me! Amazing, amazing lady! She also made me a matching slip (for added poof), a ruffle bum cover, a bonnet and lace socks. She ended up making the same dress and selling it in her shop. The weather had been really rainy and kind of cold, but on this day it was beautiful! Afterwards, we invited our family and friends to the park where we ate, visited, and played. It was perfect. A special thanks to everyone that helped and contributed.
