bats
batty about bats
OK if you don’t like bats I’m warning you now that I have become obsessed with the little dears and a trip to the fruit bat colony near Woolgoolga Lake has given me some fun images soon to be posted on the blog. They live amoung the paper barks and she-oaks in a large crowded colony during the day and cover the skies at dusk as they migrate in their thousands in search of food. Fantastic to watch, such small bodies yet enormous wings … and those feet!
