SC review.

The ride to SC seemed to take forever. Depending on who you ask, it took between 14-29 hours. Somehow the ride back from SC to Louisville flew by & Bre & Shan spend about 4 hours waiting on their flight. We stopped at a McDonalds before we got to Louisville & took some shots in the bathroom, which was pretty hilarious.

I ended up only getting one layout complete for myself. I stole a pic of Maxx & scrapped him. Then we did two round robins that were fun.

The restaurant was interesting. Our cook (aka Mickey Mouse) totally flaked on the chef hats he promised us. Nerd is totally as cute in real life. Plus he smells good. I ordered the most American food I could find: spring rolls. Turns out they weren't very American. They had what I call jellyfish tentacles in them, though I'm uncertain what they actually were.

Christine brought us the best prizes ever. Looove my Glitz. & my cute little pendant for a necklace. This is my new mantra. Hey, it saved us once in traffic on the way to Louisville.

typewriter!

Mom has a booth at an antique mall & has always been interested in antiques. I've gone to antique stores with her over the years. I decided tonight that I needed a typewriter. With my instant gratification (& a pending DT deadline) I couldn't wait. We drove right to an antique mall that stays open late. The whole way there she's telling me I won't find a typewriter, they don't exist, she's never seen one in an antique store, blablabla. I said yes. We will. Rachel found one. I've seen several in the stores we've been on over the past few months, but never really wanted one until tonight. I knew they existed.

Lo & behold, on the third floor. There were at least three. I got mine for $6. I love it.
