I saw this year in review challenge at The Studio and knew it was time to do my 2018 review... because it's almost time to do my 2019 review!
I do a page like this every year with my Instagram "top nine" because I think it's fun and sometimes these are not photos that I scrapbooked. I used all of the PinkFresh goodies + a cut file from Paper Issues. I turned my 2018 into a shaker with Hex-a-Glam sequins from Spiegelmom Scraps.

one in a billion.
Christmas card photo shoot was in our backyard this year! On a cold 43 degree evening. Everyone mostly cooperated :)
I was inspired by Stacy's December photo board with the Lab puppy and the dark, rich Christmas colors. I combined her challenge with Rochelle's sketch challenge. Here's my page:
Paper Issues has some cool woodgrain papers in the shop right now. I added lots of Elle's Studio goodies. Thanks for looking!

living the dream.
Playing along with the 11/10 scraplift challenge at Paper Issues this month. We are lifting Anna this time. Here's her gorgeous page using CVS:
I also used CVS on my page, scrapping a wedding photo from my brother's wedding this past September. I used a free cut file from Paper Issues for my title.

the best.
I really wanted to document the gift my brother got for my mom last year. He had custom pet portraits made for her (and me, and his fiancee, and himself) and she cried when she opened it.
Hunter was her baby and just the sweetest boy. His portrait turned out amazing! I also thought the one of my brother's dog, Vanilla, turned out perfectly!
I followed sketch 398 from Sketches in Thyme. I grabbed a cut file from Paper Issues (they're free!) and made some sequin shaker presents. I used Lucky Charmer sequins from Spiegelmom Scraps. Then I embellished with some Elle's Studio and Scrappin Happy Studio flair. Thanks for looking!

This autumn photo is of my boy from two years ago that I never scrapped.

sweet.
How gorgeous was my brother's wedding cake?! Perfect for this month's Paper Issues Adspiration challenge.
I used the lovely Happiness collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio and Gum Drops sequins from Spiegelmom Scraps. This cake cut file is from Handipaper Etsy shop. Her cut files are gorgeous!

pick me up.
I'm sharing this page for the Pinspire Me challenge at Paper Issues. I was inspired by the moody oranges to scrap this page about fall flowers my coworkers sent me.
I used the PinkFresh Just a Little Lovely collection + Office Hours. The title is a cut file from Paige Evans. Thanks for looking!!

family.
I'm here playing along with Rochelle's November sketch challenge. I converted this sketch to 8.5x11 size and had to ditch one of the photos because of the smaller size. I dug into my Christmas stash on this - all old goodies.
I finished up my Holly Berries sequins from Spiegelmom Scraps on this shaker. Lasting Memories has a challenge to use stripes on your page this month so I chose my patterned paper from Kaiser Craft based on that challenge. Thanks for looking!

October winnings!
I never win anything so to find out I was selected FOUR times last month was pretty exciting!
This page was selected as a top three at Sketches in Thyme.
Then Elle's Studio selected this page from Instagram and I won a store credit from them!
Scrap the Girls announced the July winner was this page.
Also, I was a randomly selected winner at Lasting Memories challenges and won a gift card to Paper Issues!
PLUS I have some excited news to share later this month - so stay tuned!

wedding timeline.
My brother got married in September so I have some more wedding layout to scrapbook :)
This page was inspired by this weekend's Scraplift Sunday at Paper Issues. I really love the loose grid design and felt it would be great for my "time line" Snap Chat photos. I love time stamping photos for different events like vacations - or weddings!
I used primarily the Unforgettable collection from CocoaVanilla Studio. I added some different Thickers + some flair from Scrappin Happy Studio. Thanks for looking!

Lincoln.
This page is fro the Wish Upon a Star challenge at Paper Issues this month and made using one of their free cut files.
Lincoln is the newest baby in the family. He's my husband's cousin's first child. I used the Snuggle Up collection from Photo Play and tucked in lots of stickers from the sticker sheet in around my cut file. I added Total Coolness sequins from Spiegelmom Scraps. Thanks for looking!

hooray.
This page was inspired by the October sketch challenge at Scrap the Boys. I downsized their sketch to 8.5x11 size and used one larger photo instead of the smaller three. This is my brother, my dad, and my grandpa a couple weekends ago.
I'm really super pumped about this page because I created that watercolor patterned paper using distress inks! I couldn't find a patterned paper that worked for my page, so I pulled out some distress inks and made my own! I love how it turned out - I may do this again!
Thanks for looking!

life is complete.
Playing along with the October challenge at Let's Get Sketchy. I sized down to 8.5x11 and only used one (larger) photo.
The embellishments and papers are all from Elle's Studio Home Sweet Home 6x6 paper pad + September releases. Thanks for looking!

beautiful.
I wanted to include the bridal shower invitation on a page about my (now) sister in law's bridal shower. It can be difficult to include pieces of ephemera like that, especially when they are large like this.
I made this page for the CRISP challenge at Lasting Memories. I used Cocoa Vanilla Studio; Red pen for journaling; Invitation; Stickers; Pop dots. Lots of fussy cutting on this page and this is the CVS Happiness collection. Thanks for looking!

love you forever.
This page started out with THIS cut file (free at Paper Issues!) and my Silhouette destroyed it. So I had to trim it up and make it work.
I added some mixed media with the packaging technique under opposite corners of the cut file and then just added a few embellishments. This collection is Simple Stories Heart and the sequins are Total Coolness. Thanks for looking!

COSI.
I have a few photos of when we visited the Center of Science & Industry last year in Columbus. I thought the SOS cartoon/sketch challenge would be perfect for these smaller photos.
I used up a lot of stuff from my PinkFresh warehouse box. For the CASPER challenge - I used cut aparts, alphas, stickers, pen, Elle's Studio, and the letter R in my title. Thanks for looking!

captured.
My brother got married last month and had a photo booth at the reception. The lighting for that thing was so amazing and flattering!
This page is inspired by this month's Scrap the Girls challenge. I'm a Leo and my inspo was black and white with florals. I used the new Unforgettable collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio and Hex a Glam sequins from Spiegelmom Scraps.

bride & groom.
Lasting Memories challenge blog has a pick 3 challenge this week so I chose hearts, tags, and stickers.
Raise your hand if you have two previous Cocoa Vanilla Studio collections to use, but you just received the latest collection and you had to use it immediately... that's me. The last three collections from CVS have been perfect for wedding pages.
The title is a free cut file from Paper Issues & I added some Spring Fling sequins from Spiegelmom Scraps. Thanks for looking!

I received an Elle's Studio order yesterday and I wanted to make something. I found the October Take 5 challenge at Paper Issues and used patterned paper, orange, purple, layers, and stickers.
This photo is from the first night we spent in our new house. I woke up on Saturday morning to this gorgeous sunrise. Thanks for looking!
supplies
patterned paper: Elle's Studio (Home Sweet Home)

fabulous.
White... with 1 had a rainbow challenge this month that I was here for!
I used the packaging technique with some distress inks to smudge some color behind where the poppy flowers would be. I used a different color for every flower to fit the rainbow theme. All the embellishments and even the patterned paper I used for my cut file are PinkFresh Studio.

home sweet home.
This page was inspired by sketch 387 at Sketches in Thyme. I've been wanting to scrap these photos of our new house - one from April and the other from July The flowers and plants are all green and blooming and I have front porch decorations and what a difference three months makes! I matted the July photo and popped it up to draw attention to it.
I've combined Jen Hadfield's Home+Made collection with Pink Paislee's Auburn Lane and Fancy Pants Magnolia Lane collections. They're all very similar and they go so well together.

One of the challenges this month at Paper Issues is Stamp of Approval and I haven't used my stamps in a long time! I used the Looks Like Summer stamp set from Kellie Winnell.
I was also inspired by the Challenge YOUrself sunrise-sunset challenge. You guys know I love my summer months!
This is mostly Elle's Studio goodies + flair from Scrappin Happy Studio and some sequins from Spiegelmom Scraps. Thanks for looking!
supplies
project life cards, die cuts, stickers: Elle's Studio (June 2019 kit)
ink: Hero Arts ombre ink pad

Some photos of my flowers from this summer - most of these are ones I have planted at our new house. I used the Home Sweet Home collection from Bella Blvd and I'm playing along with Scrap Our Stash. I used the right side of the layout in their choose your side challenge.

surprise lily.
I always scrapbook photos of my flowers from my yard every year. This year is our first year in our new house so most of the flowers were a surprise... none was more surprising than the surprise lily!
I came home from work and saw these gorgeous things.
I played along with the Take 5 challenge at Paper Issues (2 photos, die cuts, pop tape, journal strips & gold) and the single page sketch at Stick It Down. Everything is from the Just a Little Lovely collection by PinkFresh Studio. Thanks for looking!

Playing along today with Rochelle's Scrappy Friends challenge.
My brother got married earlier this month and these were some snapshots we took on the shuttle bus to the church. I used mostly PinkFresh Just a Little Lovely on this page.

sweet.
Monochromatic pages are tough for me because I love color! That's why it's called a challenge, right?
This one was for The Studio and I tried to stay strictly brown - even with my photo of my mom's chocolate Lab. I used a bunch of scraps and things from my stash. Thanks for looking!

celebrate.
Just a quick pic I snapped at my almost sister in law's bridal shower last month.
This is for the learning curve challenge at Paper Issues this month. I curved my title and flowers around the side of my photo. Some of the flowers I popped up for some dimension and I added some sequins and butterflies too. Thanks for looking!

let's get creative.
I was going through my patterned paper stash today and found this layout that I had pulled embellishments out... and stopped. I must have gotten interrupted. Anyway, I used the Whimsical collection from Paige Evans and this month's Scrap the Girls sketch.
My term with Spiegelmom Scraps ended last month, but this was such a fun team to be on and it really stretched my creativity. I wanted to be sure to include it in my scrapbook.

happy heart.
I played along with the More Than Words challenge this month. The word is happiness & there was a sketch as well.
I did an 8.5x11 page for my ballet album. This is the senior girls with our instructor right before our recital our senior year. A very happy time as our hard work all season was paying off in our recital.
I used Cocoa Vanilla Studio Midnight collection + a free cut file from Paper Issues. Here's the More than Words challenge if you're interested:
