This is the highest waterfall East of the Mississippi River!

The afternoon shadows make the water look blue and the Fall foliage was not as colorful as the last time we were here, but we enjoyed it just the same.

Lake Junaluska Roses

On our recent trip to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, we went to Lake Junaluska where we saw these beautiful roses.  Roses seen to get happy toward the end of their blooming season.

Of course, I don't know the names of these roses, but I appreciate their beauty, just the same.

The rose above looks like Peace.
