Ritual cleansing of tunes from the'60s & '70s being used to advertise fucking air-polluting shitmobiles. An admission there's been little good music made in the last forty-odd yrs.?
Enjoyably stupid fun, & it does rock. Produced by Todd Rundgren, which helps.Proto-punk from the Great Northwest. Tacoma, to be speccfic. The ad agency cut the opening "Hey little girl" line. And this rousing "Fuck You" to all the sheep in their boxes, also used to pimp wheels, which just just appeared on Sunday Nihght Baseball on the Nasty Broadcasting Company. "For families that don't fit in a box." A selective edit of a cover. Can't handle the truth. I hope the royalties are going to a decent cause, or at least a descendant, as Reynolds was the socialist type.

When Tee Vee Was King
Kills me every time. Plenty more on YouTube; do your own research.Just saw this, for Saurday 19 November 1955. More Weterns than you could shake a six-shooter at, & Yma Sumac on Stage Show w/ the Dorsey Bros. In Jan. '56 Elvis Presley made his first national telebision appearance on the program.[Sedelmaier obit from Off the Kuff.]New Jersey Online:

In Humanizing The Vacuum's "Good to Great" section, these are the top three. Absolutely correct. Two Motowns & a Checker (W/ a great Don Bronstein cover.) Whence else at the time?

From this reporter's salad days. Two more I liked from HTV's list. The surfin' Trashmen are from ... Minnesota.
And to make it a Top 40 radio-style 'tween the adverts set of three under-three-mins. tunes, the Lawrence Welk version:

Get Help Before It's Too Late, Weirdo!
Will this delusional witchfinder order the Navy to start bombing Monterey because Wiccans give him the willies? Here is a video of new Acting Navy Secretary Hung Cao warning that a wave of Wiccan "witchcraft" is taking over American and threatening Christianity pic.twitter.com/uwpkf03ENm
— FactPost (@factpostnews) April 23, 2026
It's the 21st damn Century, people: Comic books & fairy tales are not real. Fun, but fiction!! And now, the First Amendment's guarantee of the free exercise of religion is becoming fiction.“We can’t let it turn like this. There’s a place in Monterey, California called Lovers Point. The original name was Lovers of Christ Point, but now it’s become– they took out the Christ, it’s Lovers Point, and it’s really– Monterey is a very dark place now,” said Cao during an interview with former Bethel Church pastor Sean Feucht. “A lot of witchcraft and the Wiccan community has really taken over. We can’t let that happen to Virginia.”Business Insider reported at the time that while there did appear to be a Wiccan presence in Monterey, there was “little evidence that the community has ‘taken over’ the sunny seaside locale.”

I do like her claim that the gummint is Gawd's punishment. Har har har! Gettin' it good & hard, Yankee pig-dogs!!

This can't be good. Thought FanDuel was a sportsbook/gambling app deal. They must be stupid like Trump to lose money at that. Nope, wrong again; the Wiki sez the name on the outside is a branding deal, not actual ownership. I think. More hot poop. Hah! Sinclair & other corporate scum.Evan Drellich / The Athletic:
Sources: the nine MLB teams televised by FanDuel Sports Network have ended their contracts with FanDuel SN after multiple teams failed to get scheduled payments — The nine Major League Baseball teams televised by FanDuel Sport Network have terminated their contracts with FanDuel SN …
Drew Lerner / Awful Announcing: All nine MLB teams reportedly terminate contracts with FanDuel Sports Network
Wish I knew what that actually meant. Who "co-owned" TVG Network? And is FanDuel the sportsbook currently giving money to Main Street Sports Group &/or FanDuel Sports Network? Corporations hiding as if they were criminals afraid of the light of day. Imagine that.In August 2022, FanDuel announced the re-launch of TVG Network —a co-owned horse racing cable network— as FanDuel TV. The channel would continue to primarily carry live coverage of horse racing events, but would expand its coverage of mainstream sports from a gambling perspective. On October 16, 2024, Diamond Sports Group revealed in a bankruptcy court filing that it had reached an agreement with FanDuel Group to rebrand its the Bally Sports regional sports networks FanDuel Sports Network. The agreement contains an option for FanDuel to take a 5% equity stake in Diamond upon its exit from chapter 11 bankruptcy protection; Diamond subsequently became known as Main Street Sports Group.

Riding Horsies W/ Jebus: Delusion Or Hallucination?
Could just be drooling idiocy. Hair coloring is not good for the brain, ladies.Certainly delusionary that the dead little prick would be anywhere near (imaginary) heaven. Or a horse ranch in heaven w/ Jebus. What are this woman's hang ups? No, don't tell me.Wednesday, September 24, 2025

It was well covered, so this reporter needn't have arsed hisse'f even if he hadn't been nauseous. When baseball's done I may watch some of these.
There were smaller models.
Hot poop on the 3751.
This guy hasn't seen this sort of thing before, will talk to anyone, & is easily shocked.
Four hrs. of livestreaming. Pretty sure I won't watch all of this.Who's creepier, young people making crap for YouTube, or old people doing it?
End of the line.

Until you're waiting & waiting & waiting for it.Still waiting. Also amusing: Roku couldn't have sold more than 35% of the ad space (For a Sunday game bwtween the Giants & Dodgers!) resulting in innumerable promos. If Roku is corect in its assessment of what the American people want to watch, the American people should all kill themselves, ASAP!
