Steps

1. Connect your Wallet to Superbridge.
2. By default, you’ll be in Bridge view, select the correct networks. In this case, from Ethereum to Base.
3. Under your list of owned tokens, select the $SOVRN token, then the amount of $SOVRN you want to bridge.
4. Wait for the estimated gas fees to load, click Review bridge, then click Continue.
5. Review and accept the succeeding terms & conditions, then click Continue.
6. Click Approve $SOVRN, then click Confirm in the succeeding Metamask pop up.
7. Once approved, click the Start button to begin bridging, then click Confirm in the succeeding Metamask pop up.
8. After approximately 3 minutes, a check icon will appear once transaction and bridging process is completed.
9. Change your network to Base and check your $SOVRN tokens.

• The migration portal will be open for three years (36 months). After this period, $BREED tokens may no longer be supported or recognized within the Sovrun ecosystem, and liquidity for $BREED may vary depending on support from liquidity providers.

• Yes, you can use any ERC-20-compatible wallet to migrate your tokens. Make sure your wallet is connected to the correct network and compatible with the Sovrun Migration Portal.

6. How will I know if my migration was successful?

• You will receive a confirmation notification from the migration portal once your tokens have been successfully migrated. Additionally, you can check your wallet balance to confirm the receipt of tokens.

7. What will happen to my staked $BREED tokens?

• Staking for $BREED will be disabled on November 26, 2024, around 10AM GMT+8. A snapshot will be taken on the same day the staking portal will be disabled. All holders currently staking $BREED will have their staked tokens unlocked and airdropped to their wallets by November 27, 2024. These can be migrated to $SOVRN tokens at a 1:1 ratio using the migration portal once it goes live.

8. What will happen to my vesting $BREED staking reward tokens?

• Staking rewards will accrue until the snapshot date on November 26, 2024. Claimable $BREED staking rewards will be auto-claimed once the migration goes live. These rewards shall vest for six (6) months as per usual. Once vested, these $BREED tokens may be migrated to $SOVRN at any time via the migration portal. • The swap ratio will be 1:1, where each $BREED token will be exchanged for an equivalent $SOVRN token.

We recognize that the future of gaming demands more — permissionless composability, scalability, and modifiability, among other innovations. Sovrun is the natural progression of BreederDAO, born from the challenges, insights, and opportunities we’ve encountered on our journey. This broader vision reflects our answer to what gaming can truly become.

From breathing life into the metaverse via digital asset creation, we’re now advancing the gaming landscape through Sovrun–an ecosystem designed to empower players and creators to break free from the constraints of traditional gaming and current blockchain infrastructure.

Sovrun Genesis will serve as the Participation Layer of our ecosystem through its fund and value creation initiatives in games. The $17M fund continues to support and further the evolution of Web3 gaming through its participation in emerging gaming economies and ecosystems. The Genesis team combines its analytical focus and blockchain experience to pave new paths for the future participation in games and autonomous worlds. Most recently this manifested in a first place finish in CCP’s ‘Eve Frontier’ Hackathon and will be followed by an experience on Proof of Play’s Pirate Nation.

Treasury Overview & Asset Performance

As of the end of September 2024, the BreederDAO treasury boasts a total value of $24.54M, excluding its native $BREED token holdings. This robust financial position underscores BreederDAO’s commitment to maintaining a strong fiscal foundation. The treasury’s stability continues to bolster the project’s mission of driving innovation in blockchain gaming and metaverse development.

NFT & Token Holdings

Last Q2, we highlighted some of our positions in several promising blockchain gaming projects (among these are Azra, DigiDaigaku, and My Pet Hooligan), in Q3 — our blockchain gaming portfolio has seen significant developments and strategic adjustments.

Pirate Nation

Our current holdings in Pirate Nation include 60 NFTs valued at $178,062 and over 510,000 $PIRATE tokens worth $85,877 (fiat equivalents are as of Sept 2024), reflecting our strong belief in the potential of autonomous worlds and fully on-chain gaming. More than just a game, Pirate Nation is pioneering a new frontier that redefines ownership, creativity, and community dynamics in digital spaces. By enabling players to truly own their in-game assets and create their own content within the game universe, it sets a new standard for player empowerment. A fully autonomous world, allowing decentralized environments where players can govern their experiences and interact freely, enhancing their sense of ownership and community. As a result, we are building Plunder Quest, a new mini game on the Pirate Nation platform, which is set to launch in November.

DigiDaigaku

We’re currently holding 50 NFTs from the Genesis collection and an additional 73 NFTs from their other collections, valued at approximately $435k (as of Sept 2024). As early supporters of DigiDaigaku, we take pride in their continuous innovations, the latest being the introduction of WNative by LimitBreak, the company behind them. WNative serves as a modern replacement for WETH, enhancing the user experience by enabling direct use of native assets in DeFi applications. This eliminates the need for wrapping, thereby reducing transaction complexity. Additionally, WNative improves efficiency with lower gas fees and faster transaction speeds, significantly enhancing overall performance. With these advancements, we are optimistic about the future of DigiDaigaku and its impact on the evolving landscape of digital assets.

Azra Games

Azra Games has secured a substantial $42 million Series A funding round led by Pantera Capital, further validating our investment thesis and highlighting the growing confidence in Azra’s vision for blockchain gaming. The company is developing a next-generation RPG that combines deep, engaging gameplay with a player-owned economy, leveraging the team’s extensive experience from industry giants like Electronic Arts. Azra’s innovative approach merges traditional game design principles with blockchain technology, creating truly ownable digital assets within a rich narrative and strategic gameplay environment. This funding not only provides Azra with significant resources for development but also positions them as a potential leader in bringing mainstream adoption to blockchain gaming, with Pantera Capital viewing the project as a promising catalyst for industry growth.

We expanded our token holdings, particularly in SOL, ETH, and RON, reflecting our confidence in these ecosystems’ growing potential for gaming. This strategic shift positions us to capitalize on the emerging opportunities in decentralized gaming and scalable blockchain solutions.

Azra

• Azra Games has seen a significant market response with its projects like “The Hopeful” PFP, which has seen a 33% increase vs last quarter in value to a current minimum of 0.90 ETH. Additionally, they have also raised an additional $10 million from a16z earlier this year (along with Azra Games’ investments from NFX & Coinbase), for its Legions and Legends web3 RPG. Legions & Legends, under Mark Otero’s leadership, combines high-quality RPG gameplay with seamless web3 integration. The experienced team, with veterans from major franchises (Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and Battlefield), ensures a top-tier gaming experience. Its “web3-sensitive” approach allows players to enjoy the game as a traditional free-to-play RPG while gradually exploring blockchain features.
• As of Q2, BreederDAO acquired 2 additional NFTs, increasing their holdings to a total of 121 NFTs.

DigiDaigaku

• Like most of the space, BreederDAO’s first glimpse of DigiDaigaku and its entire ecosystem was brought about by the waves Gabe Leydon was making around Web3. One of the main things BreederDAO looks at when it comes to acquisition of assets under a project would be the impact it makes with the foundation that’s being built. Gabe Leydon has been building a foundation that equates to innovation and building frameworks around the space that others can adapt. Starting with a Superbowl ad, a Free-to-Own concept and the development of ERC721-C, there have been countless new tech and engagement strategies that have been adapted at large now around Web3, some of them being recognized from Leydon’s activations around DigiDaigaku. BreederDAO still continues to invest and believe in DigiDaigaku and LimitBreak because of the belief that Gabe Leydon still has a lot more to offer to the space and it’s all just the beginning for him before he replicates his Machine Zone success and cracks the web3 gaming code.

• Just this year, the game recently launched its $KARRAT token. Moreover, The game has brought on several high-profile advisors, including popular YouTuber CryptoStache, who has also been added as a playable skin in the game’s store, showcasing the value in asset creation which BreederDAO holds to high regard. My Pet Hooligan, $KARRAT, and its creators AMGI has also exhibited some innovative technology within Web3, making great strides in the realm of AI and AR, which BreederDAO also believes are sectors that will make great contributions towards the overall development of Web3 in general. AMGI also has an extended plan in mind which bolsters their entire ecosystem, developing tech from an AR and character integration platform like Immi to developing sustainable metaverse architecture in Interloop. BreederDAO’s portfolio includes 57 MPH NFTs from diverse collections. Additionally, BreederDAO also acquired and is currently holding 10,000,000 $KARRAT tokens.

Pixels

• The recent launch of the$PIXEL token is a game-changer, supercharging utility and rewards for players while ensuring long-term sustainability through its expertly crafted tokenomics. With the exciting introduction of the Task Board in Chapter 2, players can now engage daily with a variety of tasks, fostering vibrant community collaboration and interaction. The focus on guild dynamics allows players to unite and tackle challenges together, enriching the overall gaming experience. Plus, with ongoing expansions to the game world and new resources to discover, Pixels is committed to keeping gameplay fresh and exhilarating.

Gam3s.gg

• Currently, GAM3S.GG has surpassed 500,000 registered users. The platform is aiming to onboard 100 million players, showcasing its vision for the future of gaming. On April 6, 2024, GAM3S.GG announced a strategic partnership with Immutable, a leading Web3 gaming platform in which BreederDAO have also invested in. This collaboration will integrate key functionalities like Immutable Passport and Immutable Checkout to enhance user experience. This aligns perfectly with BreederDAO’s mission to make Web3 gaming mainstream through driving player engagement and expanding the gaming ecosystem.
• Last quarter, BreederDAO received 5% of its $G3 tokens, bringing the total holdings to 1,666,667 tokens.

BREED Token Circulation and Investor’s Holding Ratio

Investor’s Holding Ratio (IHR): A remarkable 94% of Investors’ BREED tokens that are vested are presently still held by investors.

While we already have 30 (and more soon!) lands available for our guild members to utilize in training and honing their expertise in each industry, we wanted to give more opportunities to our loyal and active members, especially in a way that can encourage them to be more actively involved in the guild and its operations. Because of this, we are launching the BreederDAO Guild Referral & Incentives Program, which will be a program that has 2 facets within it.

The Referral Program

Beginning in August 2024, we’ll be setting up a fairly simple system within our guild and Discord that aims to reward each guild member who successfully refers any new guild member into buying and pledging a shard. Each successful referral will net a guild member a reward of 10 $PIXEL, without any caps, so each member that can utilize their network in referring new guild members towards the guild will be rewarded.

All that’s required is for new shard pledgers to open a ticket on our Discord and share who referred them to the BreederDAO team.

Incentives Program for Beginners

Along with the Referral Program, BreederDAO wants to nurture any new players brought in by our current members. Because of this, we’re enabling an incentives program for any new players that want to get into the game and have a jumpstart in terms of advancement.

The incentives program aims to assist and encourage new players to level up and focus on growing as a part of the guild for rewards, similar to how a “beginner’s package” or “battle pass” functions in other games. The more a new player levels up, the better rewards they get, encouraging new players to get deeper into the game and have better efficiency and returns with their account as they advance. The current array of quests and incentives for each quest are as listed below:

💡 Eligible player level: Players with Level 100* or below.
*Players with a higher level may still participate in the program, but will start with missions above their level.

💡 Each player who applies for the incentives program will immediately receive a Welcome Package upon joining, which includes: 20 Grumpkin Wine, and 99 Grumpkin Seeds.

💡 Players under this program will need to reach certain milestones listed below to qualify for incremental in-game rewards, with the highest reward coming with Graduation, which includes 3 months of VIP + a sum of $BREED.

💡 Milestones:

For each lvl 20 skill: 10,000 coins + bronzenite tool
For each lvl 30 skill: 10,000 coins
For each lvl 40 skill: 10,000 coins + ironite tool
Reach total lvl 200: 100,000 coins
Reach total lvl 300: 100,000 coins

What’s next for BreederDAO’s Pixels guild

We aim to nurture and help our guild members grow, so other than the referral program for current guild members, and the incentives program for newer guild members, we’ll be continuing to craft more ways for members to have the opportunity to grow, and to keep fostering the current guild environment we have which puts importance into supporting each guild member. We also want to have guild members more integrated into the $BREED ecosystem, so in the future there’ll be more mutual benefits for $BREED holding/staking guild members.

Beginning March 2024, BreederDAO will be reflecting an updated published circulating supply on major cryptocurrency data platforms, such as CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko. BreederDAO has consistently exercised transparency regarding the difference in $BREED supply emissions and the published value in these websites, communicating these in our quarterly report to our $BREED holders, as well as outlining this in our recently released article discussing our supply emissions last November 2023.

This article discusses the full details about this update. Read below to understand the full context and for the breakdown of the updated circulating supply that will be reflected beginning March 2024.

Supply Emission vs. Circulating Supply

$BREED has a maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 which are released across a 5-year vesting period beginning from April of 2022, and are strategically allocated among the investors, team, community, and towards furthering the BreederDAO ecosystem.

The graph above illustrates $BREED’s vesting schedule, showing how 59% of $BREED’s max supply, or total of 589M $BREED, has already been vested as of March 2024. These vested tokens include 154M $BREED vested to investors and advisors, 150M $BREED vested in treasury, and 245M $BREED vested in EDF.

Meanwhile, as of writing, both CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap reflect a circulating supply of ~138M $BREED, or only 14% of the total supply. The difference between the circulating supply and our supply emission figure is due to the exclusion of the following from the circulating supply:

• Staked Tokens and Rewards — Tokens staked are subject to time locks where the rewards vary depending on duration. These time locks aim to incentivize both loyal holders of $BREED and active participants in the DAO governance. The rewards are consequently subject to a vesting schedule. Rewards that have not been fully vested were similarly not counted.
• Vested but Unclaimed Tokens — The majority of tokens to investors and advisors have already been vested. While these tokens are already available to enter the market, the investors and advisors have chosen not to claim or sell them, highlighting their long term conviction in $BREED.
• EDF & Treasury — We have a significant amount of $BREED tokens in our EDF and Treasury allocated for the long term as our balance sheet is robust. We do not expect to need our $BREED tokens to support the operations, unless otherwise dictated by the DAO.

After discussions with our community, BreederDAO deems it fit to align the circulating supply to the emission supply to consequently ensure that market capitalization captures the real value of the token given to primary points — Liquidity and Value.

Liquidity

$BREED’s actual supply emission of 589M $BREED tokens or 59% of the max supply, underpins an increased stability and liquidity for the token than what is currently being reflected.

Furthermore, out of the 589M vested $BREED, 154M $BREED are allocated to investors and advisors of which 96% or 148M $BREED remain held by them. To date, the majority of our investors, including our lead investors a16z, Delphi Digital, YGG, and IVC, still hold 100% of their vested tokens.

This shows continuous investor confidence as BreederDAO’s projects and investments further gain traction.

Value

BreederDAO has a robust treasury of $34M diversified across cash and equivalents, token assets, and NFT holdings. This strong treasury is attributable to years of building and studying the space, recent significant business strides, and optimal spending.

BreederDAO reaffirms its commitment to maintain utmost transparency with the entire $BREED community. As we ensure that our token holders are able to continuously capture value from BreederDAO’s various endeavors, it is only appropriate to align the circulating supply and show the actual, higher market capitalization of the token to appropriately reflect the real value of the business given its robust treasury, assets, ventures, and gaming operations fund and strategies, and expertise and contribution to the space.
