This is the last week that the Peace On Earth 8 gifts will be available for free – the hunt ends on the 9th January!

For the New Year ball I attended I chose this POE 8 gift – a delicate ice blue gown Silent, by Kyria Lowenstark of .::KL Couture::. This gown and many of Kyria’s newer outfits are compatible with SL Classic and Mesh avatars, with appliers included for Maitreya, Belleza, Omega, EVE, Lolas Tango – and there are resizers included too. Read the vendors and try demos so that you know exactly what you are getting. While I was looking around I bought another gown … shhh!

My Beloved Jewelry Nola necklace and earring set with texture change gems and resizers is the POE 8 gift from Kimbra McMillan. Kimbra’s store is packed with her signature delicate jewelry for all occasions. Many items have metal and gem change options making them adaptable and very good value.

Maybe it’s a phase.. maybe this is my “year of pink”… whatever the reason, I chose this T33*fy Flutter Dress from the many options available at the November C88. Both short and long versions of Maxi Gossamer’s Gypsy Flower Amulet of Antimony look great with the dress, and teamed with a pair of killer heels from FINESMITH and my Killing Time watch from my hmm somewhat extensive wardrobe I’m set to go.

#9 Home is where?

This week has been a surprisingly challenging one for me. After 3 settled years on the corner of an agricultural sim we got this notice….

Second Life® is a dynamic world that’s constantly changing. We have come to the conclusion it’s best to move some people around. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We need to ask all residents of this sim to move to another sim ASAP.

In spite of being offered random options in several other sims- I still felt like a refugee – displaced, homeless, sold out. It seems that corner lots with land companies that let you terraform and build what you want are rare and special.
