So, I’ve been experimenting with a slightly goth aesthetic with my looks recently, just check out my previous post for proof haha. So for this look I went towards the Elvira or Morticia Addams look. This gown, Iolanda, is a limited release by AZUL to celebrate the reopening of their main store. There are lots more beautiful gowns from their prior releases that are making a come back, so it is definitely worth a stop. The gown was accessorized with the steamer hair from .Olive., a gift from the Hair Fair for a more vintage hairstyle. Though the gift is now unavailable, I’m sure there are lots of other vintage hairstyles available too. I added a necklace from Pure Poison, which kinda resembled a choker to complete the look while still keeping within the theme.

Hey everyone, I’m back with a post featuring more items from the Event @ 1st which is still going on, right up till the 25th, so as of now there should be 3 more days to shop there! As you can see, this editorial is heavily influenced by science fiction, partly because of these two items by Lybra and BENDER. The first is the Tay Helmet by Lybra for the event. It lends an anime or sci-fi feel to your look, and that cityscape in the reflection of the visor makes it perfect for a dark angel in the city look (think Underworld, perhaps). I styled it with a fashion-forward bob with a slight ombre to give it a bit of color.
This amazing dress is by BENDER, and it comes in a few different colors. This is the silver option, there’s also copper and gold. It has a brushed metal look to it, which was also why I chose to style it with the silver Tay Helmet, and picked a whitish skin tone with a red lip. BENDER is a relatively new label by Honey Bender-Auer (honey.bender), and releases their own original mesh clothing, so it’s definitely worth checking out!
This post is also my chance to show you the Lara mesh body a bit better. The collarbone and elbows are way better than the system default avatar, so if you’re deciding on whether to get the mesh body and mesh head, I would say that it is a good investment if you intend to stay with this look for a long time. I know I would, and that’s why I decided to get it!
