It has been a while since I’ve written anything. Honestly, it has been a while since I’ve had time to write anything. There have been so many changes. At the end of June we moved out of our tiny two bedroom apartment and into a three bedroom house on probably a half acre lot. The back yard is fenced in and we have a sidewalk for the kids to ride bikes. To make it even more great, it is right across the street from my mom.

School started in August which put us into a whole new routine. Our two oldest boys are both in the running club at school, on top of soccer and football. We have soccer and football practices on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and two on Tuesdays. Games are on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. I love watching them enjoy their sports though. No matter how much running around I have to do… I would never be okay with them not doing what they love. 

September brought another amazing beginning. I am so thrilled to say that I have opened up my own small business. It is still the beginning but every day I get more and more excited. This business is something I have wanted to do for years but have never had the opportunity. Holiday Custom Creations is my brain-child. As of right now, I make wreaths, gift baskets, and yard signs for the holidays. By holidays I mean, everything from birthdays or baby showers to Christmas or New Years. It has always been my dream to create quality custom gifts and decorations for any occasion that requires it. There is nothing like a personalized gift. Giving has always been the fun part for me, so this is perfect.
