The old quilt that I repaired has sprung a leak. I replaced all of the fabric squares and reinforced some of the strips in between the squares, but not all of them. Here, some of the old fabric has given way.

A new trick
Wednesday, 5 February 2014 — monadoI learned to knit in Brownies. I made a pot-holder. Now, after many years, I’ve made a scarf. I called it the test scarf because if it turned out that I couldn’t knit, it would be discarded. Instead, I think it turned out rather well, with regular stitches. The yarn provides a pleasing variation in colour.
The yarn in Charisma super-bulky, and the colour is called Ashes.
