Getting to the Bottom of EPA Climate Fraud

We're going to get a scientific Truth Commission to figure who committed this fraud.

In December 2009, the Obama Environmental Protection Agency issued its Endangerment Finding (EF) – decreeing that carbon dioxide (CO2) and other “greenhouse gases” (GHGs) endanger the health and welfare of Americans. In the process, EPA ignored the incredible economic, health and welfare benefits of fossil fuels – and the fact that (even at just 0.04% of the atmosphere) carbon dioxide is the miracle molecule that enables plants to grow and makes nearly all live on Earth possible.

EPA turned CO2 into a “dangerous pollutant” and ruled that fossil fuels must be eradicated. The agency subsequently used its EF to justify tens of billions of dollars in climate research, anti-fossil fuel regulations, and wind and solar subsidies; President Obama’s signing of the Paris climate treaty; and proposals to spend trillions of dollars a year on Green New Deal (GND) programs.

And yet, despite multiple demands that this be done, there has never been any formal, public review of the EF conclusion or of the secretive process EPA employed to ensure the result of its “analysis” could only be “endangerment” – and no awkward questions or public hearings would get in the way.

Facebook claims to reach more people than actually exist.  Perhaps they're counting the dead, like the Democrats do in election voting.

Facebook inflates the number of people who can see the advertisements on its platform, a Pivotal Research Group analyst said in a note.

Facebook's Ads Manager claims a potential reach of 41 million 18- to 24-year olds and 60 million 25- to 34-year olds in the United States, whereas U.S. census data shows that last year there were a total of 31 million people between the ages of 18 and 24, and 45 million in the 25-34 age group, the analyst said.

There’s more than bank fraud going on here.

This is not about bank fraud. The Awan family swindles are plentiful, but they are just window-dressing. This appears to be a real conspiracy, aimed at undermining American national security.

At the time of his arrest, the 37-year-old Imran Awan had been working for Democrats as an information technologist for 13 years. He started out with Representative Gregory Meeks (D., N.Y.) in 2004. The next year, he landed on the staff of Wasserman Schultz, who had just been elected to the House.

Congressional-staff salaries are modest, in the $40,000 range. For some reason, Awan was paid about four times as much. He also managed to get his wife, Alvi, on the House payroll . . . then his brother, Abid Awan . . . then Abid’s wife, Natalia Sova. The youngest of the clan, Awan’s brother Jamal, came on board in 2014 — the then-20-year-old commanding an annual salary of $160,000.

A few of these arrangements appear to have been sinecures: While some Awans were rarely seen around the office, we now know they were engaged in extensive financial shenanigans away from the Capitol. Nevertheless, the Daily Caller’s Luke Rosiak, who has been all over this story, reports that, for their IT “work,” the Pakistani family has reeled in $4 million from U.S. taxpayers since 2009.

That’s just the “legit” dough. The family business evidently dabbles in procurement fraud, too. The Capitol Police and FBI are exploring widespread double-billing for computers, other communication devices, and related equipment.

Why were they paid so much for doing so little? Intriguing as it is, that’s a side issue. A more pressing question is: Why were they given access to highly sensitive government information? Ordinarily, that requires a security clearance, awarded only after a background check that peruses ties to foreign countries, associations with unsavory characters, and vulnerability to blackmail.

These characters could not possibly have qualified. Never mind access; it’s hard to fathom how they retained their jobs. The Daily Caller has also discovered that the family, which controlled several properties, was involved in various suspicious mortgage transfers. Abid Awan, while working “full-time” in Congress, ran a curious auto-retail business called “Cars International A” (yes, CIA), through which he was accused of stealing money and merchandise. In 2012, he discharged debts in bankruptcy (while scheming to keep his real-estate holdings). Congressional Democrats hired Abid despite his drunk-driving conviction a month before he started at the House, and they retained him despite his public-drunkenness arrest a month after. Beyond that, he and Imran both committed sundry vehicular offenses. In civil lawsuits, they are accused of life-insurance fraud.

Just 5.7 Percent Of Clinton Foundation Budget Actually Went To Charitable Grants

What kind of a "charity" spends nearly 95% of it's budget on itself?

You won't find this story in the Virginian Pilot.

Just 5.7 percent of the Clinton Foundation’s massive 2014 budget actually went to charitable grants, according to the tax-exempt organization’s IRS filings. The rest went to salaries and employee benefits, fundraising and “other expenses.”

The Clinton Foundation spent a hair under $91.3 million in 2014, the organization’s IRS filings show. But less than $5.2 million of that went to charitable grants.

That number pales in comparison to the $34.8 million the foundation spent on salaries, compensation and employee benefits.

Another $50.4 million was marked as “other expenses,” while the remaining almost $851K was marked as “professional fundraising expenses.”

The Clinton foundation is a criminal enterprise; is a way for the Clintons to enrich themselves and to create a political machine to further their ambitions by assembling a cadre of supporters and using foundation money to pay them. It explains why they worked so hard to sell access to her as Secretary of State for those who wanted her ear. It explains how they got rich by doing favors for the most corrupt and unsavory governments and individuals throughout the globe. We have yet to see how much they received from Russian oligarchs. If Hillary wins, the truth will never be known; the government and the press will collude in removing the evidence. if Trump wins there is a chance that we will see all the dirty details of the Clinton Crime Family.

The Clinton Foundation’s finances are so messy that the nation’s most influential charity watchdog put it on its “watch list” of problematic nonprofits last month.

The Clinton family’s mega-charity took in more than $140 million in grants and pledges in 2013 but spent just $9 million on direct aid.

The group spent the bulk of its windfall on administration, travel, and salaries and bonuses, with the fattest payouts going to family friends.

That the exact definition of a slush fund. The Clinton foundation is a money laundering operation.

Top scientists start to examine fiddled global warming figures

Has climate data been "adjusted" to correspond with the biases of man-made global warming advocatges?

Back in January and February, two items in this column attracted more than 42,000 comments to the Telegraph website from all over the world. The provocative headings given to them were “Climategate the sequel: how we are still being tricked by flawed data on global warming” and “The fiddling with temperature data is the biggest scientific scandal”.

My cue for those pieces was the evidence multiplying from across the world that something very odd has been going on with those official surface temperature records, all of which ultimately rely on data compiled by NOAA’s GHCN. Careful analysts have come up with hundreds of examples of how the original data recorded by 3,000-odd weather stations has been “adjusted”, to exaggerate the degree to which the Earth has actually been warming. Figures from earlier decades have repeatedly been adjusted downwards and more recent data adjusted upwards, to show the Earth having warmed much more dramatically than the original data justified.

So strong is the evidence that all this calls for proper investigation that my articles have now brought a heavyweight response.

The Global Warming Policy Foundation (GWPF) has enlisted an international team of five distinguished scientists to carry out a full inquiry into just how far these manipulations of the data may have distorted our picture of what is really happening to global temperatures.

For this the GWPF panel is initially inviting input from all those analysts across the world who have already shown their expertise in comparing the originally recorded data with that finally published. In particular, they will be wanting to establish a full and accurate picture of just how much of the published record has been adjusted in a way which gives the impression that temperatures have been rising faster and further than was indicated by the raw measured data.

Already studies based on the US, Australia, New Zealand, the Arctic and South America have suggested that this is far too often the case.

But only when the full picture is in will it be possible to see just how far the scare over global warming has been driven by manipulation of figures accepted as reliable by the politicians who shape our energy policy, and much else besides. If the panel’s findings eventually confirm what we have seen so far, this really will be the “smoking gun”, in a scandal the scale and significance of which for all of us can scarcely be exaggerated.

The government defines any purchase of less than $3000 a "micropurchase."   For this purpose, government employees are issued credit cards.  Given the number of federal employees, their contempt for the taxpayer, and their propensity to commit fraud, it's no surprise that those "micro" items add up to macro dollars.

The federal government has spent at least $20 billion in taxpayer money this year on items and services that it is permitted to keep secret from the public, according to an investigation by the News4 I-Team.
The purchases, known among federal employees as “micropurchases,” are made by some of the thousands of agency employees who are issued taxpayer-funded purchase cards. The purchases, in most cases, remain confidential and are not publicly disclosed by the agencies. A sampling of those purchases, obtained by the I-Team via the Freedom of Information Act, reveals at least one agency used those cards to buy $30,000 in Starbucks Coffee drinks and products in one year without having to disclose or detail the purchases to the public.
A series of other recent purchases, reviewed by internal government auditors, include wasteful and inappropriate purchases by government employees -- including a gym membership and JC Penney clothing -- that were not detected or stopped until after the purchase was completed.

Climate change PROVED to be 'nothing but a lie', claims top meteorologist

John Coleman, who co-founded the Weather Channel, shocked academics by insisting the theory of man-made climate change was no longer scientifically credible.

Instead, what 'little evidence' there is for rising global temperatures points to a 'natural phenomenon' within a developing eco-system.

In an open letter attacking the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, he wrote: "The ocean is not rising significantly.

"The polar ice is increasing, not melting away. Polar Bears are increasing in number.

"Heat waves have actually diminished, not increased. There is not an uptick in the number or strength of storms (in fact storms are diminishing).

"I have studied this topic seriously for years. It has become a political and environment agenda item, but the science is not valid."

'Where's the global warming?'

This week saw the 18th anniversary since the Earth's temperature last rose - something that Dr Benny Peiser, from the Global Warming Policy Forum, says experts are struggling to understand.

He explains that we are now in the midst of a "crisis of credibility" because the global warming - and accompanied 'Doomsday' effects - that we were once warned about has not happened.

Scientists from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) once predicted a temperature rise of 0.2 degrees per decade - but are now baffled by the fact our planet's temperature has not increased for almost two decades...

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, Dr Peiser said: "What has happened is that the public has become more sceptical because they were told we are facing Doomsday, and suddenly they realise ‘Where is the warming that we were promised?’"

"They say we can predict the climate and the reality is that they can’t."

The global warming mongers have pulled another fast one, and this time many of those who know that it’s a fraud are falling for it. It’s all the talk about the 17 year “hiatus” during which the globe has not warmed.

But here’s the point: it’s not a “hiatus.” Calling it a hiatus means that it’s an interruption of an ongoing event. It’s NOT a pause .... a gap, .... an interval .... before global warming starts up again. To accept the term hiatus is a concession to a lie.

The global warming fraudsters predicted that the earth would heat up. It did not. It’s a failed prediction. 

It’s like the Dead Parrot sketch where the shopkeeper pretends that the parrot is not dead.

Mr. Praline: Never mind that, my lad. I wish to complain about this global warming prediction what I purchased not half an hour ago from this very boutique.

Owner: Oh yes, the, uh, the Climate Change Special...What's, uh...What's wrong with it?

You told me that the earth was warming due to greenhouse gases; that New York City would be under water when I listened to your not more than a year ago, you assured me that its total lack temperature increase was due to it hidin’ in the ocean deeps following my driving around in an SUV.

Owner: Well, he's...he's, ah...probably pining for the fjords. The fiords will soon be under water mate.

Mr. Praline: Look, I took the liberty of examining the global warming data when I got it home, and I discovered the only reason that the temperature on the chart had been going up was because you fudged the numbers and HID THE DECLINE!

Message to people who live in Realville, when you hear someone calling it a hiatus, tell him to shut up.  It's a failed prediction.  Just like when the weatherman tells you it's going ot rain and it doesn't.

Pentagon wrestles with bogus climate warnings as funds shifted to green agenda

But the climate fraudsters are getting rich. One out of three isn't bad.

Ten years ago, the Pentagon paid for a climate study that put forth many scary scenarios.

Consultants told the military that, by now, California would be flooded by inland seas, The Hague would be unlivable, polar ice would be mostly gone in summer, and global temperatures would rise at an accelerated rate as high as 0.5 degrees a year.

The Unusual Courage of Mark Steyn

Mark Steyn does not suffer fools gladly. He’s a Canadian born conservative columnist with a rapier wit, not just slaying but flaying the object of his wrath. Here’s what he said about Michael Mann, the inventor of the discredited “hockey stock” in the ClimateGate fiasco.

Michael Mann was the man behind the fraudulent climate-change “hockey-stick” graph, the very ringmaster of the tree-ring circus. And, when the East Anglia emails came out, Penn State felt obliged to “investigate” Professor Mann. Graham Spanier, the Penn State president forced to resign over Sandusky, was the same cove who investigated Mann. And, as with Sandusky and Paterno, the college declined to find one of its star names guilty of any wrongdoing.

If an institution is prepared to cover up systemic statutory rape of minors, what won’t it cover up? Whether or not he’s “the Jerry Sandusky of climate change”, he remains the Michael Mann of climate change, in part because his “investigation” by a deeply corrupt administration was a joke.

Actually, Steyn was unusually mild here, but it was enough to get Mann to include Steyn, National Review, Rand Simberg and others in a lawsuit for defamation unless National Review deleted Steyn's post. National Review declined.

Mann decided to proceed with his suit which was heard in DC Superior Court under Judge Natalie Combs Greene. The latest development is that Judge Combs Greene had retired and because of errors her rulings for the plaintiff, Mann, have been voided and the case begins anew.

Steyn wrote an opinion piece on this development which is typical Steyn and pulls no punches.

Dr. Michael Mann’s lawyer, John Williams, filed a fraudulent complaint falsely representing his client as a Nobel Laureate, and accusing us of the hitherto unknown crime of defaming a Nobel Laureate.

After Charles C W Cooke and others exposed Dr. Mann’s serial misrepresentation of himself as a Nobel Prize winner, Mann’s counsel decided to file an amended complaint with the Nobel falsehood removed.

Among her many staggering incompetences, DC Superior Court judge Natalia Combs-Greene then denied NR’s motion to dismiss the fraudulent complaint while simultaneously permitting Mann’s lawyers to file an amended complaint.

The appellate judges have now tossed out anything relating to Mann’s original fraudulent complaint, including Judge Combs-Greene’s unbelievably careless ruling in which the obtuse jurist managed to confuse the defendants, and her subsequent ruling in which she chose to double-down on her own stupidity. Anything with Combs-Greene’s name on it has now been flushed down the toilet of history.

So everyone is starting afresh with a new judge, a new complaint from the plaintiff, and new motions to dismiss from the defendants. That’s the good news.

The bad news is that Mann’s misrepresentation of himself as a Nobel Laureate and Combs-Greene’s inept management of her case means that all parties have racked up significant six-figure sums just to get back to square one. In a real courthouse – in London, Toronto, Dublin, Singapore, Sydney – Dr Mann would be on the hook for what he has cost all the parties through his fraudulent complaint. But, this being quite the most insane “justice system” I have ever found myself in, instead the costs of the plaintiff’s vanity, his lawyer’s laziness and the judge’s incompetence must apparently be borne by everyone.

He went on to say that in many cases, it's not whether you win or lose, but the fact that you are forced to spend tons of money and time to defend yourself: "The process is the punishment."

That’s quite daring. I know of no one else who has had the courage to go after a judge while his case is still pending. Judges protect each other and pretend that much of the judiciary is not made up of lawyers who received a political appointment for toeing the party line. They pretend that many of their colleagues do not fold, spindle and mutilate the law to achieve their personal objectives. There are exceptions, of course, as there are in any occupation; there are good doctors and bad doctors, good investment managers and bad ones. But the Judiciary is by its nature, and the manner in which judges are made, a political animal. That is why appointments to the Supreme and inferior course are now bitter political and ideological battles.   Judges don’t simply read the law and decide a case based on the facts, in many cases the law is what they say it is and the law as written be damned.

To protect that power, judges have to make sure that the public continues to believe in the myth of judicial impartiality. That means that people who fail to pay proper obeisance to judges imperil their case and why lawyers will tell their clients to shut up lest they run afoul of a judge whose sees his role as enforcer of judicial supremacy.

All of which is a long way of saying that Mark Steyn is exceptionally brave for writing an article attacking a member of the judiciary as incompetent, careless, obtuse, confused and stupid. I am reminded of the quotation by Voltaire: “To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize.” I have no doubt that Steyn is never going to be ruled – or cowed – by the judiciary.  My hat is off to him.

A fake sign language interpreter took to the stage during a mass memorial for anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela, gesticulating gibberish before a global audience of millions and outraging deaf people across the world.

DeafSA, South Africa's leading deaf association, condemned the presence of the unknown man at the memorial, which was attended by President Jacob Zuma and scores of world leaders including U.S. President Barack Obama.

While dignitaries were addressing the crowd in the 95,000-seat Soccer City stadium, the young, suited man with an official security pass round his neck produced a series of hand signals that experts said meant absolutely nothing.

Besides the bizarre twist to an event that also saw Zuma booed and jeered, the man's presence on the stage within yards of Obama and Brazil's Dilma Rousseff raised awkward security questions.

Somehow it's fitting.
