I was browsing this morning and passed by the blog of Decrepit Old Fool, one of my friends whom I’d enjoy meeting if I ever got up that way, and he’s posted a video clip of such impact that I decided I must steal it and post it here:

I sit here wondering what’s going on in Iraq, and Iran, and Europe, and China, and I get two weeks of coverage on Anna Nicole Smith, a plasticized slut such as one might find in a middle tier strip club anywhere in Houston… ADn what’s worse, SHE pushed another blighted bimbo, Brittney Spears, off the headlines.

I get the feeling that they don’t want us to know what’s really going on…

Bread and circuses, right up to the time when the barbarians come pouring through the gates…
