C’mon! Impress me!

Am I alone in being roundly disappointed at government in general as well as the “leadership” of the Republican party?

How many of you actually hold out a real hope for a solution for the budget deficit that doesn’t involve taxing the drawers off every income-earning American and turning the money over to the Feds so they can spend MORE?

How many of you actually expect republican “leadership” to call a spade a spade and say the fifty years of social engineering have finally driven the country over the edge, culminating with the election of a man to the presidency who is either wholly inept or consciously anti-American and that the country teeters on the edge of the abyss?

It isn’t funny any more. Buffoonery, pandering and posturing are passed off as at best, statesmanship, and at worse, politics as usual.
