1209Massacre at Béziers: the first major military action of the Albigensian Crusade. “Kill them all and let God sort them out”. And lest you think this was about religion, folks, it wasn’t. It was about who held power and how they retained it.

1926 – Temperatures hit 108 F in Troy, NY and 105 F in Waterbury, Connecticut setting state records. People begin torching SUV’s in protest of global warming.

1933 – Wiley Post becomes the first person to fly solo around the world traveling 15,596 miles in 7 days, 18 hours and 45 minutes.

1942 – The United States government begins compulsory civilian gasoline rationing due to the wartime demands.


1944
– The Polish Committee of National Liberation publishes its manifesto, starting the period of Communist rule in Poland. This is possible because the Russians had slaughtered thousands of Polish intellectuals, leaders and army officers in the Katyn Forest Massacre after splitting the country with the Nazis in 1939.

1983 – Temperature drops to -128.6 degrees F at Vostok, Antarctica as global warming takes hold. This is the world record low temperature.

1994 – OJ Simpson pleads “Absolutely 100% Not Guilty” of murder. Later that day he gets a phone call, Michael Jackson offering to “watch the kids” for him.

2003 – Members of 101st Airborne of the United States, aided by Special Forces, attack a compound in Iraq, killing Saddam Hussein’s sons Uday and Qusay, along with Mustapha Hussein, Qusay’s 14-year old son, and a bodyguard, thereby depriving the Obama regime of several key cabinet nominees.
