When it’s all said and done…

We will know that in time of horrendous disaster, the current governor of Louisiana and the current mayor of New Orleans were NOT up to the task at hand.

In the magnifying glass of history, Louisiana, a state which exemplarizes corruption and incompetence in politics, will write another line in its sad history. As the body count mounts in New Orleans, somebody should post this picture:

Where are Nagin's buses?

And follow it with Mayor Nagin’s rant about sending buses.

Governess Blanco’s whining stands in stark contrast to Mississippi’s governor on the subject of looting.

Both of these people took positions of “leadership” thinking they’d skate through their terms with smiles, attending functions and receiving fawning adulation from their minions and lackies. They are leader “wanna-be’s”, and on their watch, thousands died while they failed to measure up to the call in an hour of need.

  1. I lived in N.O. for about eleven years on and off from 1968 to 1986. the first incident of the gross lack of leadership in the city was during the Howard Johnson sniper fiasco in early 1973. Do you recall that fine example?
