Yesterday, January 23, was the fourth anniversary of me starting this blog. There are 2632 posts on this thing ahead of this one, and during a normal day we get 500-600 hits, although a lot of them are dropping by on the advice of search engines. Two or three hundred folks drop by often enough to be familiar, and I’m linked by over a hundred and thirty different blogs.
Occasionally I’ll put up something that gets a link somewhere and a horde of folks descend on the place. I got an ‘Instalanch’ that put me over the thousand hit a day mark. I got linked by a mommy message board and that pushed me to almost eight hundred one day. It’s always interesting to see what happens.
Yeah, there are days that I don’t particularly feel inspired to write much, but apparently you good people still feel compelled to drop by this train-wreck and see what gooshy parts are showing.
So here’s to the next 365 days…
