If you’re interested, the link below is a 2 megabyte MS Word file of pictures somebody took around the local area after Hurricane Ike, while the water was still up.
Keep in mind that these are NOT cities on the coast. They’re thirty miles inland from the Gulf on the Calcasieu River.
I don’t know who the photographer is, but if he happens to see these pictures, I’ll be glad to give him credit.
