I used to be quite a bicyclist myself, so I keep at least a peripheral track of the biggest bicycle race on the planet, the Tour de France.
The race has quite a history, and Lance Armstrong has done us proud in winning several times in recent years.
Here’s a rare thing, though. I have found a rare color picture of the 1940 Tour de France:

That’s funny right there…….notice the lack of the yellow jersey. Ever wonder why the French picked that color for the leader??
I was always more of a Greg LeMond fan myself. But then again…

Actually, I haven’t ridden a bicycle since I obtained a drivers license… well maybe before that, the actual license wasn’t a hinderance. :)
