So here I am, comfortably ensconced in a motel room northwest of Houston. This week’s fun and games include having a team of contract technicians go through the high voltage stuff that makes my 7000 horsepower motor run. It’s been three years since it was installed, and I am interested in seeing what kind of shape things are in. They’ll remove covers and hook up some strange test equipment and we’ll see how things are holding up. This is one of those spur of the minute things that I didn’t know about until I got here. I was just going to test three battery banks.
That’s going to have me here for a few days. I have a few other things I need to attend to around this station, too.
Anyway, that’s pretty much it for this week.
Hmmmm, too bad you and the hubby couldn’t get together! He’s flying into Houston on Tues evening for a Wed interview on the southwest side!
I have been ordered to Houston several times now and have yet to make an appearance. Perhaps I’ll make that trip soon and can coordinate with you when that does happen so I can say howdy in person (and thank you for making me laugh).
Sorry I couldn’t go with you this time. I always enjoy that plus I get to shop in Houston. :P Be careful driving home sweetie. You know me, I always worry about you on the road. I will make sure the cats are ok too. Hurry home.
