I love the psychology involved in the people’s refusal to accept that Lee Oswald acted alone. I get a kick out of it for one reason only – they cannot believe that such a pathetic excuse for a commie loser as Lee Harvey Oswald could possibly have downed the most powerful man on Earth with a mail-order Italian POS rifle. The reason I get a kick out of it is because it so solidifies Lee Oswald’s permanent reputation as a guy so loser-ey that people can’t even believe that he was smart enough to hang a rifle out of a window and shoot someone with it. I’m sure that is the opposite of what Lee Oswald wanted when he performed the act, and it is just perfect that his intentions to forever be known as a cold-hearted assassin have ended up not coming to fruition, because what he is really seen as is a guy so inept that he couldn’t even pull a trigger three times without help from some secret government agency.
Fact is, three shots in eight seconds is child’s play. An 88 yard shot with a target quartering away at an actual speed of 11 miles an hour (quartering away makes the perceived speed to the shooter – and the need to lead him to accommodate for it – almost negligible) is something my 9 year old nephew could easily accomplish. It sure wouldn’t take HIM three shots to get it done, I promise, and he has no military training whatsoever. Lee Oswald was a marine.
