Hiya all,

Just wanted to wish everyone a VERY Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 🙂

Have a wonderful break with family and friends – spread much Christmas cheer and happiness and enjoy all that yummy food.

FYI – Just tried homemade eggnog (the non alcoholic version because I find brandy too overpowering and tend to not drink anyway) for the first time ever over the weekend and OMGGGGG! Droollllll 

One word – DELECTABLEAWESOMENESS (yes, I did just make up my own word because it was that mind blowing).

Any how, have a great time off – recuperate, sleep, eat, dance and generally be merry so we’re all bangin’ for 2019 xoxo

Just wanted to drop a quick note in the midst of my email nightmare.

Just returned from a fabulous trip – I went to my favourite place on the planet, my India and ended with Hong Kong (which was equally as spectacular just in case you’re wondering).

But … I came back to over 1600 emails :0

I know, I know, was the holiday worth it? I’ve been struggling to answer that question but every time I close my eyes and reminisce I absolutely know it was so worth it!

Anyway, just wanted to let all of you very special people know that once I get to some sort of semblance with work (hopefully I’ll be there at the end of the week), I am back on my novel.

BTW – the cover is looking so amazing, I’m actually gushing – hope to share it with you soon.

It’s that wonderful time of year again.

My favourite month is just around the corner, summer holidays for us Aussies! Yay!!!

I know I probably say this every year, but man am I ready for a break. I go on unofficial leave in about 2 1/2 weeks time and official leave in 3 1/2 which means that there’s a lot to do before I officially hang my socks up for the year.

It also means you lucky Bloggers get a much needed break from moi till about February, 2016 unless I sporadically post in between now till then because I absolutely have to.  Just to check up on all of you mischievous followers. But, you’re my mischievous lot so I love you 🙂

Anyway, have a wonderful, magnificently marvellous festive season with the people you care for and who love you back (because that’s important, just saying) and I will see you all in 2016.

Thanks for the laughs this year, you helped me get through many a dreary day. See you soon xoxo

So I spent my entire Easter compiling a meticulously drafted SWOT analysis on the most perfect chocolate egg out there, it took me days to complete.

Seriously, the time and patience I spent on taste testing, analysing, breaking all the eggs on the predefined cracks, I mean Humpty Dumpty would have elected me as his surgeon in a heart beat. If poor Humpty had one.

Then … the worst possible scenario occurred, my spine still tingles at the thought of it – I lost it. My dog ate my homework and I am not lying. Well, my imaginary doggy.

So now I have to start all over again. It’s a tough job but you know, someone’s got to do it

I know, I know. It’s the beginning of the week and we just came out of the weekend but looking forward to something great about to happen can never be wrong, am I right or am I right? I know, right. I’m right. Thanks for the confirmation.

It’s a four day week followed by four days off. Life can rarely get better!

Here’s hoping you all have a wonderful time off and some great stories to tell at the end of it. Oh, and I want details. Have an awesome week everyone!!!

Apologies for the slight sabbatical, if you’ve even noticed. If you haven’t, please just consider this as another one of those sanity defying posts you have come to expect (or fear – whichever you prefer!) from me.

Turns out smashing your alarm clock into oblivion on a Friday can have devastating effects, like not waking you up for 48 hours. Damn little bugger, sure knows how to hold a grudge, doesn’t it? What’s that all about anyway?

Today should be a Public Holiday

On days like today, it should be illegal to be couped up within four walls. C’mon Governments all over the World, even Mother Nature is yelling at us to let our hair down!

Besides, seeing as everyone is constantly professing that the World is really a very small place, I suggest everyone on the planet gets a day off so we can all share in the love a little. Okay, great, it’s settled, good weather anywhere on the globe, we all get a holiday. Agree? Agree – done. That was easy 😉

I need a holiday for my holiday …

I always get a little worried about the coming week when I feel like a I need a break to recover from my weekend. Any suggestions anyone? So I can make an excuse for my detrimental situation that is viably believable to my boss?

Hello my lovely fellow blog enthusiasts!

Hope you are all wonderful and well. I just got back from our amazingly spectacular interstate escapade with my gorgeous sis Mayunka and we had the time of our lives!

20140815_185302We went to see the great night show of the Italian Masterpieces Art Exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria which was awe-inspiringly jaw dropping, being the lucky few to have ever witnessed these great masterpieces in the World only made the entire event that more tantalising!

Then we had the shopping adventures that were naturally, a focal point of our whole trip, but by far, the best time we had together was jogging along Melbourne’s famous Yarra River, we definitely looked like locals then :p

20140815_214509Shared some great food at restaurants that were open till 3am the next morning and walked till our feet screamed in agony at being tortured as unfairly as they were. Had some fresh, hot donuts & crepes at one of the many popular street food stalls and generally laughed and frolicked like there was no tomorrow – exactly the way a holiday should be, wouldn’t you agree?

Anyway, it’s good to be home, as always! Looking forward to reading some of your wonderful posts I have missed over the last couple of days, See you around 🙂
