We didn’t notice until we showed up for church exactly one hour late.

Never fails! We always tried to avoid that Sunday because everyone was always late and there would be three people at the service.

Three different households, all of us regulars, all of us typically about fifteen minutes early for services, showed up exactly late at exactly the same time. Providentially perhaps, last Sunday’s service was also one of the longer ones of the year so we still had plenty of church left.
As it is, I hate mornings. I resent the loss of an hour’s sleep, especially since I live at a latitude where the change over makes little difference anyway compared to places further North where it is really useful.

At least the stragglers at our services would be there in time for the most important part of the service! They say Unitarians show up more for the coffee and conversation after the service than they do for the service… Our services are an hour long rarely a few minutes longer because otherwise there would be a coffee mutiny.
I was HIGHLY disappointed when I went to my Aunt’s Lutheran Church in Iowa because there was no coffee time after church! Everyone rushed off without any conversation. It was very sad, really. How do they expect to get to know one another?

What a cool photo!
We’re not springing ahead in Sevilla yet.
