Delhi MC Ikka’s penmanship has sharpened on his samurai-themed trilogy of EPs with Sez on the Beat, the star producer he calls upon for his most bar-heavy sets. Enigma 2 Icon, which follows 2024’s Blood Is Better Than Tears and 2025’s FUBU, is the longest of the three records, with its six tracks clocking in at 19 minutes. It also shows a range of sides to the rage-fuelled rapper—he’s at his combative best on “Hamla”, gives an Eminem classic a distinctly desi take on “Fan/Stan” and works through his vulnerability on “Drunk Ikka”. He doesn’t hold back—the tunes are as punchy as they are personal.
