green leaves vegetables!

I have planted a lot of Pak choy in the past. They are really fresh and tasty to be eaten fresh from the garden. It has extra sweet taste that I don't find in the 'market bought' vegetable.

Past few months I have no real luck with Pak Choy. May be I have planted them so many time at the same place and the required nutrition already gone....But do fertilise them though....hmmm.... Another issue is with the grasshopper. They seems to chop of the leaves before I know it! sigh.....

Finally I'm seeing good growth on the green leaf vegetables once again.

Propagation of Costus

Costus is really exotic plant with spiral stem and red bract!

I learn to propagate them when I saw few new growth on the dried bract. I have 4 pots of Costus now. Somehow the propagated version are not tall as the mother plant. The bract is small too.

Anyone have same experience as mine?

the beans!

The beans have been producing ample of pods now. I'm left with 3 plants now so there are not much harvest per day. However, I have collected for the whole week and it's enough for my weekend cooking!

This vegetable seems like very sensitive to hot weather. Very short lived plant too. May be it's not so suitable to be in this part of the world.
