Banana fruit progress

Banana tree fruit progress is very slow. I wonder how farmers wait to harvest their banana fruits! It's such a long wait! However a bite on the fruit might console all the wait!

The tree is so tall! I could not get the correct angle photos due to the height and the leaves bloacking with each others!

The fruits are small at the moment. It's green in colour. The flower at the bottom has been plucked and cooked! Usually we need to cut the flower so that the tree will put the energy on the fruit production!

Let me see if I could get better photos in a few weeks time when the fruit grow a bit bigger!

Papaya - a show!

 It's awesome to have papaya plant in garden. Once the tree mature, they produce sweet fruits! Three fruits have been plucked and 2 eaten. 1 of them I have to throw due to fruitfly larva! I can't figure out how the eggs was deposited into the fruits. Before it get ripen, the fruit is so hard and covered with latex.

This time around, I have a plan. Once the slight colour change happen, I shall pluck the fruits and ripe them in the kitchen. They ripen well and full of sweet taste!

I wonder why the market bought papayas have funny taste even though the price is ridiculous! It's tasteless sometimes. If I have dozen of papaya trees, I won't ever buy a papaya anymore! I think , I shall plant many of them to get continuous supply of papaya for my home! ;)

Well, I getting so much into papaya now! hahahhaa..... I'm so ambitious with papaya!

It's raining again! This is really radiculous! I can't predict the weather! There will be scorching sun in the morning and evening it's raining cats and dogs!

One of the day it was so hot the whole day and rain come down pouring in the middle of the night!

I think the garden have so much story to tell. The plant might be wondering too like me!

Cape honeysuckle is as cheery as always! I think it's very happy!

Look at those pretty purple little Duranta! They have been flowering profusely now! The rain drenched the flowers and they drop down creating beautiful flower bed! 

Hibiscus are flowering well too! Red, yellow and pink! So colourful!

Ants prefer the yellow flowers! May be the nectar is more sweet!

Surprisingly my Ixora which I plan to remove have been flowering profusely too! There were no flowers for past 2 years! It was full of leaves that i got so annoyed and threatened to chop down to make way to other flowering plants! Oh dear! may be it understand human language! 

White flower which is cool to be seen!

Papaya fruit & wishes!

Papaya fruit maturing! The other day I pluck one of the fruit. I ripe them in the kitchen. It ripe to beautiful yellow skin and the flesh was so sweet & juicy!

I'm waiting for another 3 fruits.
