Being admired through the muck and mire

Relatable concerns born through the struggle, feeling as though it’s time to retire

Eager to see the cure soon to be revealed

Amazingly soldered to scriptures daily

Staying true to who you are remarkably

Triumph over the unexpected news

Change the narrative of what they thought you would do

Accept the journey that has been presented to you

Newly found strength in this new mindset

Clues to the person God made you to be

Eagerly trying to discern what His purpose is for you

Reasoning through the trails trying to prevail

Always dreaming of reigning alongside Him

When will this earthly example cease

Am I the one that will bring peace

Rendering my testimony in any environment presented to me

Engaging different generations through my speech

Not paying any attention to the scarred edifice

Engineering the power to ignite the fire of that fighter inside of you

Sharing every bit of my walk to help you as you stumble

Seeing encouragement through every mountain that I’ve climbed

Molehills in my mind that have caused me to ascertain a new name

On the outside looking in you tend to see defeat

Now hearing my plea you’re actually seeing those words He spoke to you in human form

To shy away now wouldn’t hurt anyone except for you

How great it would be to be just as determined as that “Shero” she is in your eyes

Stand up and fight through the gifts He’s giving you

Use what was stirred up in your soul when she was soothed

Real people are waiting for you to move

Visions floating in your mind now have space and time to flow

In due time those who you admired will watch the impact you’ve made grow

Vows made to yourself in silent now heard by the masses

Ongoing pushes to keep fighting

Reaching for the stars

Seeing your survival will shock them all

You overcame and proved them wrong

The light shining from within you masking the scars that impede you

Breaking forth into a new portrait of what life is to be

Many times you may be the only example He chose to let someone see Him

With every appointment approach it with enjoyment

Afterwards think of it as time well spent

As the tears began to form

Absorb the energy that is being restored

You are God sent

Don’t let anyone take part in your descent

Be the anchor that allows positivity to ascend
