Pay it forward again.

Ok I am going to post this again because no one ever commented on it last time. This time, please comment. I already have an idea as to what I am going to make for the first 3 people. (I might even make something for everyone that leaves a comment!)

The Rules
1. Be one of the first THREE bloggers to leave a comment on this post, which then entitles you to a handmade item from me - something crafty or yummy, who knows?! (From previous posts you know I have some talent.)

2. Winners must post this challenge on their blog, meaning that they will Pay It Forward, creating a handmade gift -anything!- for the first THREE bloggers who leave a comment on their post about this giveaway!

3. The gift that you send to your friends can be from any price range and you have 365 days to make/ship your item. This means you should be willing to maintain your blog at least until you receive your gift and have shipped your gifts. And, remember: It’s the Spirit and the Thought That Count!

4. When you receive your gift, please feel free to blog about it, sharing appropriate pictures and comments! If you are not one of the Top Three Commenters on this post, you can still play along.Go ahead and start your own Pay It Forward chain, and encourage your blogging friends to do the same!

SO, REMEMBER...Pay it forward!

Well, I got home from the bridal shower Friday night and I had received my gift. Steph had made me this really really cute bunny cake. It was so cute I almost didn't want to eat it, but we did. It was very yummy. Thanks again Steph!

Easter Celebrations

We had a great Easter. I went upstairs before Rob so I could get pictures of him discovering his basket. He loved it. I had found a Lightning McQueen basket for him. He carries it around the house now. He didn't discover that there was candy in the eggs until later in the day.

Finding his basket.

New little ducky. Bella got a frog with a pink bow.

He saw Mater.

Oooo....Mater! He has a McQueen too.

Eggs!

I like my basket!

Playing with Mater.

Bella in her new Easter dress.

It is a size 12 months!

Tried really hard to get a good family picture. This is the best one.

Later that day, after Rob's nap, the neighbors invited him over for an egg hunt. It was his first one and he wasn't quite sure what was going on. He seemed more interested in the guy down the street mowing his lawn. I think he enjoyed it in the end though.

His first egg.

Here Jamie, this is for you. I got a picture of Emma and Aden.

Putting the eggs in the basket.

Cute Aden. He is a few weeks older than Rob.

Cute Canon. He is also just older than Rob.

Love his outfit.

All four kids after the hunt. This is when Rob discovered there was candy in the eggs. He kept throwing them on the ground to open them.

After the hunt with the neighbors, we packed up the kids and car and went down to Nate's aunt's house in Lindon. She is the one that has breast cancer and is going through chemo at the moment. We had a nice relaxing dinner and another egg hunt. Again, Rob wasn't too interested in it all. He just had fun being outside and running around.

Lauren and Rob.

Emma and Meg.

Looking at his basket of eggs.

This picture is a little blurry, but it is so cute of him running with a smile.

Cousins of sorts. Emma, Meg, Lauren, Rob, and Ellie.
We really enjoyed spending time with family and relaxing. It was a great holiday.

Bridal Shower

This is the last post for today. I have had a lot to blog about, but not the time to do it. It has taken me all day to do these three today. Our neighbor is getting married in May and her shower is this week. I volunteered to do the invitations to help out. I went to the craft store and discovered embossing. I had so much fun. I am going to do it a lot for my card group now. These are the invites I made. Her colors are bright orange and pink. I have had so much fun with my card group. It is a new favorite hobby of mine. Let me know what you think.

Bella is 4 months old!

Our girl is now 4 months old. She is getting so big. Her check-up went well. She has these dry kind of scaly patches on her feet/ankles. The doctor said to try vasaline and scrub them a little. It has helped a little. Then she found a heart murmur so we had to take her in for an echo cardiogram. The results are that the whole in her heart that everyone is born with has not closed up yet. It is still open a little bit but they are not worried about it. They are going to do another echo in a year to check on it again. We were glad to hear that. Other than that, she is doing great. Here are her stats:
Weight: 16 lbs 12 oz (although at her echo, 3 days later, she weighed 17 lbs) .......97th percentile
Length: 25 1/2 inches .......91st percentile
Head: 16.2 inches ......57th percentile
We love our little girl so much. She is such a blessing to our lives. She loves to smile and she has started to laugh/giggle. She seems to save her biggest smiles for her daddy though. She loves to have her "grandma time" every night after Rob goes to bed. She sleeps through the night, which we love. She has discovered her hands and likes to hold on to toys now. She is just so wonderful.

I also gave her some cereal for the first time today. She did really well. She hardly spit any of it out and she just gobbled it up. She loved it.

This is when she was about done, that is why there is some on her face.

She is just so cute!

Happy Birthday!

Ok, so on March 28th I turned 27. I still can't believe I'm that old or that I'm a mother of 2. I started the day with a shopping trip with Vicki (it was her birthday too) and the neighbors. I got some stuff to make cards for my card group that I am in. Then we went to lunch at Chipotle. It was sooooo good. Yum! I took a much needed nap in the afternoon because I was up with Rob who was sick all night the night before. (More on that later.) Then Nate and I went to Garcia's for dinner. It is my favorite place here. It was also sooooo good. Then we took Bella and went to the Jazz game. Vicki got tickets from here work for the 10th row behind the basket. They were the best seats I have ever had to a Jazz game. They played the Suns and beat them in overtime. It was a very exciting game at the end. We got Rob a little Jazz stuffed bear since he was sick and couldn't go with us and I got a T-Shirt. Nate and the kids gave me a Cubs T-Shirt, Cubs freezer mug, 3rd book in Anita Stansfield series I am reading, and swedish fish. Shannon and Andy gave me the movie Twilight and Mark and Vicki gave me an I.O.U. for a shopping trip. It was one of the best birthdays I have had in a long time.

View from our seats.

Bella at her first game.

Shaq is sooooo big!

Family picture minus Rob.

She actually fell asleep during the loudest part of the game.

D-Will

Ran into an old friend from home (Keilani Moeaki). She was in the first row behind the basket.

Cute picture of Bella and me at the game.

Ok so on to Rob. About 2 weeks ago he spiked a really high fever during the night. I watched him the next day and he wasn't getting any better so I called the doctor. We took him in and we were there for 3 1/2 hours. First they checked for the flu. That came back negative. Then they checked for strep (his throat was really red). That came back negative. Then they attached a bag to him to try and get a urine sample. While we were waiting to see if he would pee, they drew blood. They missed the vein and had to poke around in there a little bit. He hated that and I hated watching it because I know how much that hurts. I have had to go through that a lot. He never did pee so they had to catharize him. That was the hardest thing to watch. They finally sent us home and said they would call with the results of everything. So home we went and waited. He hardly slept that night and was burning up the whole time. I just kept giving him Tylenol and Ibuprofen. His fever got all the way up to 104.5. It was pretty scary. Finally they called the next day and said he tested positive for Adenovirus. Basically it is a virus that kids get that causes really high fever, red throat, sometimes something that looks like pink eye, and sometimes pneumonia. It lasts for about 5-7 days. It was not fun while he had it but he finally got over it and is back to his normal self. Luckily Bella did not get it. He also cut 4 molars right before he got sick too. Poor little guy.
