Elli's first oral report

Today I was so proud of Elli.  She did her very first oral book report on the United States flag.  We read through books together and she decided what facts she wanted to share.  She typed them up.  She attached them to her poster.  And she presented them to her class.  All by herself.  It made me smile to see what Elli was able to do today.

 The wind in St. Johns provided great opportunities for home-made kite flying...

 There was lots of good rocks to collect.  And although you wouldn't be able to tell from this picture, this is the ONLY one I took at Jenna's house they are building.  Which was also one of the main reasons we went out there.  Nathan helped Jared install windows and doors. And while they worked the kids spent a lot of time playing on their property.  I had to stay back at the camper as the wind and Darla Jane we not a cohesive pair.

 But while the little one napped, I got to relax...

 More cousin bonding time as they all played their own video games.

 And what's a visit without a trip to Showlow and the Wal-mart there.

Easter egg hunters.

We were able to participate in two FUN Easter egg hunts this year. One in the morning for our neighborhood and the other in the afternoon at "grandpa phil" and "grandma bobby's" house. The kids had a blast!

My baby is 1.

It's been quite the year. We were SO happy to be able to have such a fun celebration. Geeg, Poopa and Auntie flew in for the celebration and Phil and Bobby were able to join us too. And I know there were many whose hearts were there as we were able to celebrate all that Darla Jane was able to overcome this year. Happy birthday to our super girl!

Dates with my kids

I have been lucky to be able to take the kids on some fun dates... The girls and I went to an off broadway parody the show Glee. Wesley and I went to the Olympic Stars on Ice show. Both were fun ways to spend some time with my kiddos.
