A few more fun things we did during January.
Jump on It has a mommy and me in the morning that is only the little kids.  It's an hour and perfect to get energy out-January 16
Provo Beach Resort Carousel-January 20
Having a painting party-January 21 I love how they are both so focused on it.
Jade spent the morning with us and we made pink heart pancakes and eggs-January 22
With all the snow and being stuck inside a lot we decided to bring the slide inside for a few days.  It was a huge hit!-January 23
Shoveling the snow.  We got some little shovels for the kids and they like to go out and help shovel the snow-January 30
Play dates.  We love having friends over to play.  Reagan Jeske came over and they had a great time-January 31

Lovin' Bananas

This little man LOVES bananas.  The catch is they have to be whole and in the peel.  He likes to carry them around and will eat the whole banana by himself.  He's pretty stinkin' cute too!

Family Date Night-Hollywood Connection

We started out our day by making yummy Princess Sofia cupcakes.  I love how bright the color purple is on them.  Ellie really loves to bake with me and had a great time decorating them.
With our Pass of all Passes we get into a few places that we have never been too or even hear of.  Hollywood Connection is one of the places on our passes so we decided to head up to West Valley and try it out.
We rode rides-The kids really loved the carousel

but weren't sure about the other ones.
Then we tried out roller skating.  I haven't been for years and it isn't so easy anymore:)

We did a round of mini golf and called it good.

We had a great time and came home and enjoyed Ellie's cupcakes!
 Love this family of mine!

Midway Ice Castles

Midway Ice Castles
They are awesome!  I saw a great deal on going to see them and grabbed it and I'm so glad that we were able to go with the Rickords.  It was a little hard to walk through for the kids, but so worth it
We were able to walk through all of the tunnels
and then into a larger open area in the middle
It was amazing how all the ice had formed and fun to be able to walk through.
They had lots of little sculpted seats for picture taking.
There was slide too that Ellie and went down.  It was really cool but also kind of hard to get to.  I had to push her up the "stairs" and waiting in line was a little claustrophobic.
I love how Patrick and Ellie are both squinting here.  It was really bright with the sun reflecting off of all the ice.
We got lucky and saw Elsa, Anna and Rapunzel!  Ellie was really excited.
Olaf was even in the ice.
Afterwards we headed to grab some dinner!
I'm so grateful for all of the little friends that Ellie has.  Her and Alex are so silly together!
I hope they keep doing these ice castles each year and would recommend them to everyone!

Brad

I am the youngest of 8 kids and quite a bit younger than the rest of them.  Because of this I didn't grow up with most of them and don't really see them all too often.  My second to oldest brother, Brad, came home for a funeral.  Although it wasn't the best of circumstances to come home it was so great to see him and be able to spend some time with him and have my kids get to know him a little bit.  Wish we were able to see each other more often!
