💡 Did you know? KGL Accucoms was joined by a publisher at the very first medical library event of the year - Medical Day Thailand, hosted by Siriraj Medical Library, Thailand. The event was represented by Tammy Chang, Commercial Manager for the region, who engaged with the medical and academic library community and helped strengthen connections between publishers and institutions. 🌟 Team Member Spotlight 🌟 Meet Ben Liang, our Regional Manager for China, who holds a Master’s degree in Library & Information Sciences from ISTIC and brings nearly two decades of experience in the publishing industry. Ben has built strong, trusted relationships with libraries and consortiums, and has worked extensively with publishers and agents across the region. With deep expertise in the China market, Ben’s strengths span strategic selling, cross-cultural relationship building, team facilitation, business management, organizational insight, and advanced library technical skills - making him a valued partner for both publishers and libraries. In October 2025, as part of the 75th anniversary celebrations of Zhengzhou University of Aeronautics Library, Ben was invited to introduce AIAA Publishing, highlighting how AIAA publications support advanced research and effective teaching in Aerospace Sciences, a core discipline of the university. This engagement reflects KGL Accucoms’ ongoing commitment to customer service, working closely with libraries and publishers to promote and maximize the impact of digital resources across universities year after year. Beyond professional achievements, the same dedication is reflected on a personal level. The photo shared captures a moment from the 2023 Quzhou Marathon - Ben’s first marathon finish, marking a journey that began in 2021. Today, he logs over 1,000 kilometers annually, building endurance, focus, and resilience.
