In the first days after an earthquake, care cannot wait. Our thoughts are with the people of Venezuela: the families facing uncertainty, the communities dealing with loss and disruption, and the health workers doing everything they can to respond. When emergencies like this happen, the need for medical support becomes immediate and deeply human. In the hours after the earthquake, NGOs reached out to Imres for essential supplies: medicines, medical consumables, and emergency medical kits, including the Interagency Emergency Health Kit (IEHK) and the Trauma and Emergency Surgery Kit (TESK). For us, this is where our purpose becomes more than words: Supplying Those Who Heal. Over the weekend, our teams worked hard to support our partners in the field and help move critical supplies to where they are needed as quickly as possible. We are grateful for the NGOs and medical teams responding on the ground in Venezuela. Their work is difficult, urgent, and essential. The ongoing Ebola outbreaks in the DRC and Uganda are a stark reminder of the dangers frontline healthcare workers face every single day.
