The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Thanksgiving 2009

What a wonderful first holiday as a new little family! We had a great time going down to Houston and visiting with Rich's family for Thanksgiving. Here are some highlights of the trip!

Grandparents

We are so grateful to our wonderful parents for coming up and helping us out with cooking, cleaning, and the new baby. We love you so much!

Juliette's Birth Announcement

Halloween 2009

After being admitted into the hospital with contractions and the possibility of having Juliette on October 30th, I was happy that she wasn't quite ready to come yet and that I was able to enjoy Halloween with Ellie, my little witch. We had a great time at both Emily's & our own ward's Trunk-or-Treats. We capped off the night with a little trick-or-treating in our neighborhood as well. And in case you're wondering, witches usually wear black pointy hats and not cute orange bows. My little witch absolutely refused, so I'm wearing the hat in the family pic towards the bottom. And witches traditionally use brooms as their mode of transportation. Well, this is the year 2009 and witches are obviously traveling on Power Wheels 4-wheelers these days (thanks Owen, for sharing your awesome toy)!
