Schadenfreude doesn't cover this. Schadenfreude is less sociopathic and less hateful than what's required here. The pain and suffering associated with Schadenfreude is malicious yes, but the thing getting damaged is usually the person's pride, a much deserved rebuke by the universe, a joke played on the fool who didn't know better but doesn't deserve any greater pain than that.
This, this falls more under Karma. A serious rebuke instead of a humorous one. trump wanted to play politics with COVID? trump wanted to ignore the suffering of millions of infected, and thousands of our loved ones dead? trump wanted to mock our protections, deny us our medical aid, take away the masks that can help slow the spread of the virus? trump wanted to host massive gatherings at his rallies, bringing together so many people into super-spreader events?
