Day 2 at Future of Construction and the claw machine is a huge hit! We brought it along because it felt like the right metaphor. Construction is full of moments where you are reaching for something just out of grasp, the right information, at the right time, to make the right call. That is exactly the problem Timescapes solves. Continuous visibility of your site so nothing slips through. Shout out to Sam from Icon for winning the top prize, a $500 gift card to Bunnings! Stop by Stand 55, take a shot at the claw machine, and walk away with some Timescapes merch. We still have plenty of Hats and Yeti mugs up for grabs. More importantly, come have a chat with the team. See how we are helping project teams track, validate, and communicate construction progress in real time. Find us at Stand 55 or book time with the team at timescapes.co/demo. #FCON26 #ConstructionTech #Timescapes #SiteVisibility #ProjectManagement

Timescapes is a visual progress tracking solution for complex construction projects.
About us
Timescapes is an essential tool for monitoring progress while both onsite and offsite. The combination of real-time visibility and a highly-intuitive user experience enables construction managers to be significantly more proactive with respect to progress tracking. The consistent, continuous image capture also serves to produce a highly effective source of visual documentation for substantiating delay and equipment utilisation claims, while also enabling site teams to communicate more effectively. Established in New Zealand in 2017, Timescapes is quickly becoming a must-have on construction sites globally. It is currently used by over 100 leading construction companies on over 400 projects in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and the United States.

It was a big week on Maple Reinders' first project on Prince Edward Island. Over 500m3 of concrete poured with material sourced from several island-based plants and the process could not have been more successful. The raft slab poured will support the new, larger waste bunker enabling this facility to receive and process over 90% of the Government of Prince Edward Island's black garbage waste. Special thanks to our MMJV partner, Marco Group Limited without whom this achievement would not have been possible 💪 This is what Canadians delivering advanced, critical infrastructure for Canadians looks like 🇨🇦 🍁 #integrityinbuildingexcellence #infrastructure #canadianinfrastructure #incineration #energyfromwaste #renewableenergy Adam Coombs Tyler Morrison Dusko Grambozov, P.Eng. Always great to see Timescapes out on a project of this scale. The Torrens to Darlington tunnel boring machine assembly is a massive milestone, and timelapse is the best way to capture the full story of work like this. Looking forward to watching this one progress.
Assembly of the two Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) at the Southern Construction Precinct is progressing well. Meet Construction Manager Derek Whelan as he takes us inside the launch box, where crews are busy preparing for tunnelling to begin in the second half of this year. #T2DProject #SouthAustralia #Construction #Engineering #Infrastructure #TunnelBoringMachine

Last week we sponsored the CCNZ Auckland Branch Meeting, and it was a great reminder of why we show up to events like this. Our awesome account executive Flora Hugues presented to 300+ civil contractors, project managers, and industry leaders in Auckland, and the response was something else. One of our customers came over after the presentation to let us know their whole table was wowed by what Timescapes can do. The Chair, Matt Finlay, endorsed us from the floor, and we were lucky enough to receive a shoutout from the Managing Director of Transpower as well. Did you spot our live camera running at the back of the room the whole time? Check out the full timelapse! If you're a civil contractor curious about what Timescapes could look like on your projects, let's talk. https://lnkd.in/gQKA_ADg #CCNZ #Construction #NewZealand #RealityCapture #Timescapes

Shoutout to our Auckland team for getting out on the ground this week for some site visits. It's always a good day when you spot a Timescapes camera out in the wild, keeping a close eye on progress from up on the crane. Whether you're on site or halfway across the country, Timescapes gives your team instant visibility over what's happening, when it's happening. #Timescapes #ConstructionTech #SiteVisit #Auckland #ProgressTracking

I promised this a while back, and as many know, I always keep my promises. Below is a camera photo (every month) from our Timescapes intelligent camera. It's more than just a camera; it's a smart tool for monitoring and other clever features. We need to embrace tech in construction. When you look at other industries, we are very slow adopters. If you get the opportunity to try out some new gear, give it a go; it often comes with a cost, but it saves time and provides value in the long term. Looking back over the last ten months with the images below, it's hard not to feel very proud of all the hard work and effort the contractors put in day in and day out. The progress is impressive, the quality is good, the view ever changing, and the BBQs have been tasty. One team making it happen 💯, so I will end the week with a big thank you to you all and wish you a restful weekend as we go again on Monday.

Every month, we host an internal Fireside Chat at Timescapes. It's how we make sure our team stays close to the industry we serve, bringing in people from across construction to share what's really happening on the ground. This month, we sat down with Brendan Attewell, Engineering Services & Innovation Manager at Fletcher Construction, for an honest conversation about temporary works, risk, and what it actually takes to keep a project safe and on schedule. A few things he said that stuck with us: "A design that can't be built is very poor engineering. Equally, a structure that can't be proven by design is a hazard. The critical path always has temporary works on it." Temporary works accounts for roughly 10% of total project cost, yet it remains one of the most under managed risks on site. The challenge isn't just identifying the risk, it's managing it consistently, across every project, every team, and every tier of the supply chain. "You just have to save one failure from happening, and you've paid for that camera many times over." That's exactly the kind of problem we built Timescapes to help solve. Thanks Brendan and the team at Fletcher Construction and Working Load for sharing your expertise with us. These conversations are exactly why we do what we do. And don’t forget to check out Working Load founded in 2021 to support New Zealand’s construction industry with expert temporary works risk management.

From heritage restoration to a new landmark on the Auckland skyline. 🏗️✨ We’re proud to share that Lorne Street Student Accommodation has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Residential category at the 2026 Auckland Registered Master Builders Association New Zealand Commercial Project Awards. Located in the heart of Auckland City, the 758-bed development brings together modern student living, sustainability and adaptive reuse - seamlessly integrating the restored 1929 Campbell House Art Deco façade into a contemporary 18-storey structure. Delivered for Cedar Pacific and UniLodge, the project was completed three weeks ahead of schedule through strong collaboration, innovative construction methodologies and a committed project team. The timelapse captures the scale, complexity and transformation of this landmark project from the ground up. A huge congratulations to everyone involved, including our partners Cedar Pacific, UniLodge, Urban Outcomes Limited, McConnell Property Limited, Ashton Mitchell ltd and WT (New Zealand). #buildingwhatmattersmost #iconnz #studentaccommodation #aucklandconstruction #sustainability #heritagerestoration #greenstar #designandbuild #collaboration
