This week, I'm in Malawi with @MelindaGates and Amal Clooney as part of our work together to advance gender equality and help end child marriage. We’re visiting programs like @AGEAfrica that are supporting girls to pursue their dreams. pic.twitter.com/OsU2GtPgZl
The girls I met have so many hopes and aspirations for their place in the world. @AGEAfrica is helping to ensure that they can reach their potential by offering scholarships, mentorship, and more. pic.twitter.com/P3TdZZWKaU
I spoke with @MarsaiMartin and Ingrid Tuy, a student from the @GirlsAlliance community, about our new #GetHerThere campaign and ways we can come together to support girls’ empowerment on the #DayOfTheGirl and beyond.

50 years ago, committed women and girls from around the country worked with Congress to pass Title IX and equal the playing field. @ESPN's 37 Words documentary looks into the impact of Title IX and the work still in front of us. pic.twitter.com/PavwzUuTPg
I’m so encouraged that the @POTUS and @VP have issued the first-ever national strategy on gender equity and equality. It’s about making sure that every single person can reach their full potential—in our country and around the world. It’s what real leadership looks like. https://t.co/muDDCBJpvD
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg fought to the end, through her cancer, with unwavering faith in our democracy and its ideals. That’s how we remember her. But she also left instructions for how she wanted her legacy to be honored. My statement: https://t.co/Wa6YcT5gDi
The pandemic has magnified the financial insecurity of too many American families, the deep and real racial disparities in our society – and the imbalanced burdens on working moms. We have to create something better for America on the other side of this. https://t.co/eyy3dC22Ze
When I saw Oprah interview Michelle Obama, Oprah asked how Michelle got over feeling intimidated sitting at big tables filled with smart, powerful men and Michelle said, “You realize pretty quickly that a lot of them aren’t that smart.” I think about that quote every single day.
