“U.S. Military Weapons Inscribed With Secret ‘Jesus’ Bible Codes”

Coded references to New Testament Bible passages about Jesus Christ are inscribed on high-powered rifle sights provided to the United States military by a Michigan company, an ABC News investigation has found.

The sights are used by U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and in the training of Iraqi and Afghan soldiers. The maker of the sights, Trijicon, has a $660 million multi-year contract to provide up to 800,000 sights to the Marine Corps, and additional contracts to provide sights to the U.S. Army.

One of the citations on the gun sights, 2COR4:6, is an apparent reference to Second Corinthians 4:6 of the New Testament, which reads: “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”

Other references include citations from the books of Revelation, Matthew and John dealing with Jesus as “the light of the world.” John 8:12, referred to on the gun sights as JN8:12, reads, “Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

“This is probably the best example of violation of the separation of church and state in this country,” said Weinstein. “It’s literally pushing fundamentalist Christianity at the point of a gun against the people that we’re fighting. We’re emboldening an enemy.”

“We’re emboldening the enemy.”  Oh, really… and just what was the radical Islamic terrorist’s motivation BEFORE we used weapon sites with “Secret ‘Jesus’ Bible Codes?”  Are people really so bigoted, so paranoid, that ‘discovering “Secret ‘Jesus’ Bible Codes’ on gun sights bought by the U.S. services warrants such superfluous uproar?

In this day and age, the term ‘jihad’ has come to mean a struggle or war against anyone that is not Muslim.  In essence the [radical] jihadists want to annihilate anyone who is not Muslim.  That includes atheists, agnostics and peoples of all other religions.   Radical jihadists particularly dislike Americans because they directly correlate America with Christianity; in other words they have a particular dislike for Christians, and have gone to great lengths to expand their war – remember 9-11?

When you boil all the inconsequential politically correct jargon out of the equation this is basically a struggle between Islam and Christianity or peoples of the Islamic faith versus people of the Christian faith.  In the eyes of the [radical] Muslim this is ‘jihad’ which seems to be perfectly acceptable to the PC-fluent crowd.  However, when non-Muslim people, the vast majority being Christian, take the fight to the [radical] terrorists we cannot refer to the actions or campaigns as ‘crusades.’  The term ‘crusade’ is verboten – we might offend the sensibilities of our self-declared enemy.

Anyone else see the bright red irony in this malarkey?!?  Call it what you will, we are literally ‘crusading’ against ‘jihadists.’  Try calling a spade a spade for a change, get a backbone, and muster a will to take the fight to the enemy and stop at nothing less than an unconditional surrender!  This will not go away and we cannot all just get along…  Would you like to continue to be free to renounce God, practice agnosticism, be a Catholic, etc., or would you rather ‘convert’ to Islam and pray to allah seven times a day?

And by the way… is anyone offended by the verses of the Quran that are quoted before a [radical] Islamic terrorists beheads a Christian (or any non-Muslim)?  Anyone offended by the Islamic icons carved into the stocks of AK-47s wielded by [radical] jihadists?

Our national debt is forecast to climb over $13 trillion.  That’s $43,333 per every person counted in our last census.  Considering that less than fifty percent actually pay [income] taxes that becomes $86,666 per person.  However not each person pays [income] taxes, so let’s take one third of the fifty percent… that now equals $260,000 debt share per paying taxpayer.  I have no doubt my little example is on the conservative side.  (No pun intended!)  Think about that and let it sink in… over a quarter of a million dollars in debt share for those who contribute a significant portion of money to our national coffers.

 The Senate must soon increase the national debt limit to above $13 trillion — and Democrats are looking for political cover.

Knowing they will face unyielding GOP attacks for voting to increase the eye-popping debt, Democrats are considering attaching a debt increase provision to a must-pass bill, possibly the Defense Department spending bill, according to Democratic and Republican sources.

Adding it to the defense bill would allow Democrats to argue that they voted for the measure to help troops in harm’s way — and downplay that their vote also expanded the limit for how much money the country can borrow.

Gives a whole new meaning to, “We support the troops,” doesn’t it?

“Pelosi lashes out against insurance companies”

“It’s almost immoral what they are doing,” Pelosi said to reporters, referring to insurance companies. “Of course they’ve been immoral all along in how they have treated the people that they insure,” she said, adding, “They are the villains. They have been part of the problem in a major way. They are doing everything in their power to stop a public option from happening.”

It’s called Big Business Derangement Syndrome (BBDS for short): not to be confused with Bush Derangement Syndrome (aka BDS).  The effects of BBDS are almost as intense as BDS; however, its debilitating effects last significantly longer.  Once infected, the only known cure involves an ideological change to conservatism.

Okay, satirism aside; Nancy and Company believe that big overpowering government [read federal government] can manage your healthcare better than can a for-profit industry.  NaC believes that big business is evil and that big government is okay.  Unfortunately for NaC our economy is predicated upon capitalism – something President Obama and the Democratically lead Congress are trying to desperately  to drive into extinction – a system based efficient applications of resources to produce a profit.  Of course there has to be a consumer need for the product and/or service for a business to survive.  Government on the other hand – especially our current government – relies upon you the taxpayer to underwrite all its programs.  Such will be the case of a government run/[mis]managed healthcare system.

Under the liberal plan, the aged receive minimal care because they are headed to the grave anyway, so why waste resources upon them?  Don’t believe me?  Read the bill.  Haven’t you noticed a conspicuous absence of support for the proposed government healthcare system by AARP?  Talk about a conflicted organization… the AARP must be beside itself with disbelief.  The AARP staunchly supports liberal government (most of the time) because the liberals usually support social programs.  Granted, government healthcare will be a government social program, however, the aged are looked at as an unnecessary expense – a liability if you will.

Essentially the only organization in favor of a government run healthcare system is the government.  The medical profession has spoken out against it (both the professionals and the business aspect of healthcare), businesses have spoken out against it, unions are somewhat mixed, yet the preponderance seem to be against the government plan, and of course those evil health insurance companies are against the plan – gee I wonder why?  Even the populace has swung to a majority not wanting the proposed government healthcare plan.  Yet congress and our president are Hell-bent on jamming legislation through regardless of public opinion.  Ever wonder why?

If national healthcare is so critical to the people of the United States, why doesn’t our predominant national leadership slow down and make certain the plan is truly beneficial to the people – not an overpowering tax burden that facilitates yet more government control over your life.  I do believe our founding fathers would classify such government control advocators as traitors.  Clearly, our founding constitutional principle advocates the people taking care of the each other – not big government controlling people from cradle to grave.
