Pink Champagne
I have aquired a taste for pink champagne, and on a gorgeous sunny arvo, it is fabulous to have a nice glass of pretty pink champagne – not always nice if you don’t stop at one glass.
Here are some gorgeous champagne pink items I wouldn’t mind admiring in person over a glass of bubbly

The Nearly Birthday Girl has a party
“It is nearly my party” she kept saying. “Not my real birthday but my nearly birthday”.
We celebrated with a party last weekend, a couple of weeks early as we had a special little friend staying with us. The theme was a shabby chic tea party. A few handmade touches but all very low key.
We had lots of wonderful guests to make the day special and I thought I would share some of the little touches with pictures.
The birthday girl
I made her a Lola Style pillow case dress out of the gorgeous floral Spring Bloom Fabric (stay tuned to see it in store in some pretty dresses and skirts for the next Season) She is also wearing a birthday button which is a new product due in store next month.
Some bunting out of the same floral fabric and a few other pastel pieces.
I made some cupcake toppers by using the same floral pattern and tea time images.

On the menu was the mandatory fairy bread and red sausages few lollies, the cupcakes, iced vovo’s and fruit platter, then of course no tea party is complete with the Tea Cup Biscuits.
Tea Cup Biscuits. (lots of tutorials and short cuts online. Really easy, no baking, just gluing the bits together with melted white chocolate-that’s my style of kitchen work!)
The slightly lopsided Tea Pot cake!

Make a wish Sweet Heart!

Thank you Loot Bags for guests to take home.

Her actual birthday is coming up in a week so she is still very excited about that as we have saved our gifts for then. Some really sweet handmade gifts so I will share them soon.
But today is my husbands birthday! We celebrated this along with the completion of his transition shcool and new career in the NT with dinner last night. Happy Birthday my love!

Timeless
A lovely new range is now in store. This gorgeous designer fabric is classic in its prints. Suitable for baby boys or girls it has subtle colouring and timeless illustrations on the main graphic printed fabric and then gorgeous coordinates like the ric rac zig zags and classic spot.
Available in all your favourite baby essentials like burp cloth trio’s…
Bibs, mini wipes…
and baby bodysuit onesies.
Also introducing our fabulous new product in this gorgeous print….the On the Go Change Kit.
There is a funky covered wipes container with a fold up change mat that attached to the back so you have all you need together to pop into your handbag.
The change mat is lightly quilted, reversible and folds into thirds making it portable enough to through in your handbag.
Perfect for putting down on public change stations when you just don’t feel it is clean enough for baby to be on. It is then super easy to throw in the wash.
The Fantastic Mr Fox
Whilst I havent actually seen this movie yet I have been totally inspired by Mr Clooney (who wouldn’t be!) and his handsome fox character.
Rhoal Dahl stories are just genius and that combined with the gorgeous animation surely it has to be good? I am not sure if it might be a little too “dark” in places for Miss Sabre to watch as she has lots of nightmares as it is so we might not watch it for a while longer yet but it sure looks pretty cool.
So inspired I was I wanted to create some foxy shirts for Ollie Rose boys.
Handsome Ari modelling one of the shirts
Orange Crush
This month I am crushing on orange.
Some funky shirts with something orange on them coming this month..
There is a fresh batch of orange Carrot Rattles waiting to be picked…
Lots of pretty orange things in store now…
And my little helper watching me…
She has just discovered how to squeal so is entertaining herself noisily on the floor whilst I sew.

These shoes are made for………
I have long been obsessed with baby shoes. Which is sort of funny as I don’t really have a shoe thing for myself but there is something about those teeny tiny little mini versions that are irresistable to me. I have always bought my girls far too many shoes. Some even with just the intention of sitting them on a shelf to look pretty!
So naturally I was very pleased when we hunted down 2 ranges of the most lovely handmade baby shoes. Both perfect for keeping little toes warm, looking so very cute, and well………… even shelf decoration!
THe gorgeous crochet creations booties handmade by Maria, mum of 3 adorable girls. Maria certainly has the knack for combining the prettiest cottons and does a superb job at creating an amazing classic little bootie. The sort of little shoe you will want to hang on to and pass down as an heirloom.
The leather range is designed by hardworking mum Joan and then handmade by her leathercrafting partner. Beautiful designs and amazing crafting creating the cutest little leather baby shoe around.
Some feedback we have received from one of our lovely customers about the leather shoes.
“I just wanted to let you know I got the puppy leather shoes today, and they are FAB! They are perfect in every way and smell divine! I got the larger size (baby is only a month old) and can’t wait to show them off when he grows into them”…
…”they are fantastic – super soft and beautifully made.” Jo
Little E modelling the lovely new range of leather shoes…..very hard to get shots of a wiggly baby in shoes!
What are you doing up there mum?
