Overclash

Overclash is a top-down shooter that will immerse you in intense battles, solo or on teams, through which you can bring out the potential of each hero you develop. In this title, unlike other similar games such as Brawl Stars, you will not find fixed classes; instead, you will have to add skills to your characters to increase the potential of each protagonist.

Various game modes and simple controls

In Overclash, you won't have to deal with complicated controls to harness the power of each hero during battle. By simply touching the directional joystick, you can change direction at will while using the action buttons to jump or perform special attacks that you can deploy at specific moments during battle. Furthermore, you can constantly monitor the health of both your protagonist and your adversaries to focus your attacks on the enemies who have been wounded. All of this allows you to fully enjoy the free-for-all game mode or an interesting "team deathmatch" in which you team up with other players online.

My experience playing Overclash

When trying Overclash, I encountered an initial tutorial that taught me the basic movements in just a few seconds. After this, I was finally able to jump into my first PvP match and face different opponents in the arena. I found the visuals attractive, and the top-down view allowed me to watch the action unfold with great dynamism. Furthermore, the controls responded flawlessly, allowing me to execute impressive combos that helped me take out several opponents almost simultaneously. With classic hero brawler mechanics, I was able to take advantage of my aim and reflexes to dodge projectiles and, using the environment to my advantage, I frequently threw enemies off by hiding among the various platforms.

What I liked most about Overclash and what could be improved

• What I liked most: since there are no fixed classes, you can develop your own characters by merging the different skills you unlock as you play. Additionally, the vertical design of the maps adds a fresh tactical layer to the genre.

• What I would improve: at times, the joystick for guiding the trajectory of the automatic shots is impractical, hindering your precision when trying to quickly intercept rivals.
