Here I am! Its been a while, huh? I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and are having a great start to the new year.I have so much to catch up on, so much I want to share, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to get to it all. Sometimes it is just easier to move forward instead of backing up, you know?

We spent a lovely two weeks in Colorado with David’s parents and family during the end of December. Chloe and Leo got to soak up lots of love, and David and I got two rare, but much needed evenings out. It was good for all of us to get away, and now we are back into the swing of things here. Personally, I’ve been on a bit of an organizing/decluttering kick. I started with the kids’ clothes and closets, then onto our bedroom and the laundry room. What I really want to do is finish up some of the loose ends around the house like moulding and trim, painting, and hanging some curtains and artwork so it looks more styled and less blah. But all of that takes time, plus the cooperation of the weather, my husband and the kids. Needless to say it is certainly not happening over night. I’ll settle for within the year though. 🙂
