The last of the Floriade flowers to bloom were the Ranunculus. They filled in the gaps as the earlier blooms began to disappear. The bright and deep shades of red were complimented by the pinks and purples along with the odd orange flower.
Not all the flowers at Floriade are tulips, there was also a variety of daffodils and field of daisies.
Although tulips made up most of the flower beds at Floriade this year, there was a small patch of colourful mixed flowers with lots of Poppies.
Tulips in shades of pink and purple seemed to be the more popular choice of flower at Floriade this year.

Pointed petals was another common trend, particularly for the shades of purple.
White and pink tulips were often found with frayed petals.
The deep dark shade of purple really stood out against the green stems and leaves of the tulips.
