Memphis' Finest

Nick and I had a fun night out last weekend. We went to Cystic Fibrosis/Memphis' Finest Evening gala for food and drinks to honor our friend David. It was tons of fun, and I was super excited to get dressed up!


My new/old dress: I bought it before I got pregnant with Lawson, never wore it, too fat to wear it last summer, and finally fit back in it!

Cover Model!!!

So... Little Bit is in the running for this week's Reader Choice finalist for the Parent Magazine cover contest!!! I am sooooooo excited! I never enter stuff like this, but people are always telling me to turn pictures of him in somewhere, so I finally did! He needs the most votes this week, and he will move on to the semi finals, where we could win a trip to New York and a photo shoot for the cover!

Lawson was really quiet the other afternoon, so I went searching for him, and this is what I found!

He's a Mess!!!

Lawson's sippy cup valve fell out, so he discovered that he could POUR out the milk from his cup. The dogs discovered that Lawson was their new best bud!

Briley's Workbooks

Briley loves working on his letters and numbers in his preschool workbooks. We try to set aside a time each day he doesn't have school to work on them. Lately, he has been obsessed with mazes. I bought an entire workbook with mazes, and he finished it in 2 days! Yes, those are silly bands and a tattoo on his arm. He's getting too big!

Lawson's First Day of Mother's Day Out

We decided to start Lawson in MDO this summer. I wasn't sure I was ready, but we decided that it would be a good way for me to have some quiet time, errand running, and photography/grad school time. I'm so glad, because I don't know how I'd get everything done!

Lawson is in the classroom with the same teachers he will have next year, which I'm really excited about. I'm enjoying getting to meet his teachers ahead of time. They take naps on mats in there, which is a year before Briley took a nap on a nap mat. Lawson is in the toddler room, but Briley went from the infant to the 2 year old room. The first day, they said that Lawson laid on his mat the whole time. Today, he slept! I was so upset that I didn't have my camera with me. I'll have to remember it next week, it was the cutest thing ever!

Happy Birthday Maybree!

Last weekend, we went to Maybree's first birthday party. It was cute beyond words, and we just love little Maybree! Happy birthday sweet girl!
