Summertime

Summer is in full swing around here and we are loving it.  Days are full of sun, water, and lots of fun.  Lawson got a slip and slide for his birthday and they tested it out this week with their baby sitter.  When I came home, Lawson decided to get in it with his clothes on.

 

Then they had some friends over the next day, and we had to get it out again.  This time, we learned that soap makes you go faster, so we had to make it bubbly!

 

Lawson's SUPER 4th Birthday Party

 I love planning parties, and I must admit that I think this one was the best.  We had a Superhero party and cookout.  Lawson had been excited for his party for weeks and had fun helping me plan and pick out the decor.  We had a bouncy obstacle course which kept the kiddos busy.  Everyone had a blast!

 We were so happy to have Mimi and Gigi in town.  They even joined the Super theme.

 Best part of the party... Lawson decided to put on his costume.  He ran out of the house into the backyard, runny and screaming.  His grand entrance caught everyone's attention, and had us all cracking up.  I think he liked the reaction because he decided to do it again with his Spiderman costume.

 

I love our SUPER family and this extra special little superhero boy.  Happy Birthday Lawsonmater!

These 2 are inseparable I tell you.  I brought P home to surprise Lawson one day, and he took her for a ride in his jeep.  I can just see this happening years down the road :)
