So we were FINALLY approved for the house that we have been trying to rent down in California. The property management company that we are working with is just terrible. They pretty much refuse to communicate over the phone and just doing emails when you are trying to get something going can be so frustrating. It has been hard because we wanted to get the moving truck set up but couldn't. Anyway, it is looking like we should still be able to move next week. We are hoping Wednesday, but we are still trying to pin an exact date with them. It is a huge relief that we finally have a house down there at least. It is a 4 bedroom 1700 square feet home. It is probably about 10 years old. I was exited to find a 4 bed in our price range because I think we will have a lot of visitors (hint hint). I am becoming very exited for Dallin but also a drop in my stomach as I know the 70 hour work weeks are coming up fast for Peter. I am hoping that I will get into a good routine quickly so that I am busy. My only other big concern is how quickly we can get Dallin into the programs that he needs there. So that is where we are at now. I am happy that things are still moving along.

So I am dizzy with life lately and haven't been the dutiful blogger that I try to be. We have been trying to get the house ready for renting out. My goal is to be packed and stored and cleaned by next Wednesday so that we can be ready for wedding guests for Peter's brother Jimmy. It will be great as long as I am ready. Then the house will be full of blow up matresses until we leave. I am so frantic that I am no fun to live with for sure. The house really does look beautiful now though. Makes me more sad to leave. It is finally just how I have been imagining it. The remodel process has been long but now we have a house that I will love to come back to and live in for a long time when we are able to come home. So if you know anyone who needs to rent a house...
I love the big fat trim and the contrast with the wall color.
We also did all new doors and sleek handles. We ended up hiring my brother to do most of the work.
We changed all the trim in the kitchen to white as well. Now we have it on Craiglist so I hope things will happen quickly.
So backtracking to easter. The kids had a fun time with the egg dying. I loved Eden's face when she put an egg in the dye and it came out Pink, her favorite color in the world. Dallin just loved dunking the eggs. He would re-dye the eggs over and over.
Being gentle is not Dallin's strong point. They were definately not usable for our egg hunt!
As Mommy was helping the easter bunny on Sunday morning Dallin caught me. I guess it is good that he doesn't grasp abstract concepts like Bunnies and Santa yet. I don't think he will be scarred for life or anything. They loved exploring their baskets and finding the PLASTIC eggs full of candy.
Tanners favorite part was the Peeps. He went crazy over them. This picture just makes me laugh. I just love him.
Dallin decided to give Eden a "rock a bye" the other day. He was rocking the chair and singing the rock a bye song that I always sing to them when they are sad or tired. When I found them doing this I had to grab the camera. They have been so affectionate lately. Whenever I give one of them something like a snack, they want two so they can share with eachother.
My childhood best friend Angie had her first baby this week. She looks so much like her Mommy. I am so happy for her. Angie is a very cute mom. My high school friend Rachel had a baby recently too. I must resist becoming baby hungry! I just love that new baby smell.Posted by Pricilla at 9:07 AM 3 awesome comments

Life has been very unusual since we decided to move. I have been house hunting, moving truck planning, plane ticket searching, etc. and Peter has been trying to finish our house (with the help of my brother). I also got some kind of food poisoning which was very annoying. We have so much to do in the next 3 weeks but I know we can do it. The only hard part is taking care of these little guys at the same time. We had a meeting with our regional center here this week where we asked for the funding we need for Dallin. It went as expected so the move is on for sure unless they get back to us with approval. Tanner is starting to pull himself to standing a little bit. Still just as smiley as ever.
A cute bunch of cousins are so cute. They like to play together. Dallin's speech is coming along and he is also getting better at playing with others. Instead of hitting and pushing he will say "give it to me" in a cute little voice when he wants something. For some reason he thinks that stars are called Sky. So I was giving him this candy the other day that looked like little stars. He kept saying "more sky?" He also thinks parmasean or feta cheese are "chicken".
Eden is such asweetheart. The kids love picking dandilions. I find that the more she talks the more she sounds just like me. That makes me smile. She says things like "oh my goodness!" or "just a minute". I love it! She is so easy to teach it amazes me. I can just tell her not to do something and she won't. If she needs a diaper change she'll come right over. If she ever gets resistant then I just use the old first and middle name trick and it works like a charm.
This is Clare who is getting so big. She is squishy like Eden was.
