I feel so blessed to have gotten to know so many wonderful people over the years, most of then via the HAED BB (You know who you are!) and how appropriate that HAED’s birthday is the same as mine – what a koinky dink! I have been showered with love and goodies the past weeks and I am basking in the warm glow of all this attention. I so want to thank all of you for making me feel this way and the generousity of your hearts in everything you have done. Presently in the goodies pile is a gift certificate for V.C. silks and one for Stitching bits and bobs ( I am going to have hours of fun on these sites just planning and picking things out), cards and e-mails, a deck of Tarot cards by Linda Ravenscroft , 3 HAED charts : Spirit of flight, Rose and an unexpected one; Oberon’s Mistress and I am evaluating the Professional version of Pattern maker software which if it does what I want,, will be added to my goodies. I know there is more in the mail that is coming, I am so overwhelmed that if I have missed some, please forgive me; you see…I am really being spoilt this year!
We took 2 days this week to head out to Vermont to check out a few places that sell white marble and carving tools for Alberto….not all that impressed so we will have to do more searching on the internet to find exactly what he wants. Luckily it was not all that far and the drive was lovely. All the trees are sporting their fall colours and they are at their peak…winter is now just around the corner and it will not be long before the trees drop their finery and all we will be left with are grey skeleton fingers reaching for the sky. Until the snow hits and covers the world with a soft white blanket, the days will be grey and bleak…the time of year I dislike the most.
To add a bit of colour to all this grey, it was our monthly HAED sal and MIHTD got a bit of work. I am nearly finished the 2nd page of my yearly goal, one more and I will have it. It was painful this time around, stitching all those dots in the wings and I openly admit that I hate doing the wings! shudder…but it is just about done and the fun part will be coming up next. Now without further ado, her she is : 
I also got 2 christmas gifts completed and ready to mail out…yes I know it is early but i hate waiting til the last minute so these 2 folks will just have to suffer my impatience…I will post pictures once they have been recieved but I wll say that I am very pleased with the end result….I may even make more!
Well, that is it for now…off to stitch for our CC SAL which is this weekend. I hope to get another page completed.
