Abstract

Plant diseases pose a severe threat to global agriculture, causing up to 40% annual crop losses due to delayed and inaccurate diagnostics. The AI Plant Doctor: Leaf Disease Scanner is an innovative Android-based solution that transforms plant health management using Artificial Intelligence. By integrating Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) for precise disease classification, TensorFlow Lite for efficient on-device processing, and OpenCV for robust image preprocessing, the system delivers real-time diagnostics with 92% accuracy. Hosted on a user-friendly Streamlit interface, it offers offline functionality, cloud-based scalability, and seamless access to curated treatment resources via Google API. This platform empowers farmers to detect diseases swiftly and adopt sustainable practices, significantly enhancing crop yields and food security.
